The room was clean and comfortable, with a beautiful view and a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were friendly and supportive throughout the stay. Overall, it was a nice and pleasant experience for a short getaway ^^!

We had a lovely one night stay and easily could have stayed another couple nights. The views are unbeatable. Service was great. Food was great. It is true that the bathroom within the rooms does not have a door so that’s something to consider, if that matters to you. We also had a nice trekking tour with one of the staff. They did a special room setup for our honeymoon <3.

The rooms at the retreat are super stylish and spotless, so I had a really comfortable night’s stay — definitely a big plus for me. The staff were very polite and helpful, the sunset that evening was absolutely beautiful, and the bar served great drinks. Would totally recommend!

Thank you Pu Luong Retreat!! We were at a nearby stay coordinated by a travel company and last minute realized our accommodation did not have a pool — our mistake. However, staff were kind enough to permit us entry for a reasonable fee. The pool and staff were exceptional! The retreat looks well kept, though for anyone with accessibility concerns it is hilly.

Beautiful! Very relaxing part of our trip. The hotel offers many expeditions. We took part in a 8 hour trekking day that included a guide and lunch with local family. This was a highlight of our trip. The spa was very relaxing and food was high quality. Many choices at breakfast buffet!

Aside from the friendly staff, beautiful views (when the weather cooperates), and a decent breakfast, there is unfortunately very little we can recommend about this property. The biggest issue is noise. There is essentially no soundproofing. On karaoke nights, loud music carries across the valley until around 10:00pm. After that, roosters take over well into the night, and then again before 5:00am. Sleep is consistently disrupted. Inside the rooms, you can clearly hear everything happening in neighboring rooms. Privacy is also limited. Bathrooms and showers lack doors, which may not be comfortable for many guests. The overall experience feels less like a retreat and more like sleeping outdoors with a roof overhead. If you are someone who prioritizes peace, quiet, and rest, this may not be the right choice.

I stayed here as part of a small group tour of Vietnam. But this location is amazing. It's so quiet and relaxing being in the hills of Pu Luong. I loved my room and wished I had more days to just sit on my private balcony and relax. There are 2 pools, one has bar service. There is a good restaurant on-site. The hotel offers walking tours but its easy to do your own hikes around Pu Luong. If you've been in a busy, loud city like Hanoi - this is a perfect place to chill out and relax.

Don’t know whether we were just unlucky. Expected a rural retreat. But it’s very busy and noisy. Pools were full. Loud karaoke from|Neighbouring bar was truly loud and awful. May as well have been in Hanoi. Lots of maintenance needed. Handrails and bridges are dodgy. Food was average. Very sad… really was keen to come here and quite disappointed.
