  We tried the Salad Sunset Pù Luông (papaya with beef and Pù Luông sauce), which was highly recommended by our waiter. It was super tasty! 😋 However, the grilled pork with local herbs didn’t quite work for me; it had a strange taste, likely due to a spice I didn’t enjoy. We returned for a second visit, and they kindly made a fried rice dish that wasn’t on the menu. It was out of this world! Haha, they should really consider adding it to their menu—it’s probably one of the best fried rice dishes I’ve had, and I loved how unique it was compared to the ones I’ve had before. Also, the water bottles were half the price compared to the resort (1k instead of 2k), so we stocked up to bring back with us since the resort limited free bottles to just two per day 😂 Overall, the staff were incredibly friendly, which added to our positive experience!

  Excellent Vietnamese meals, very nice team, speechless view. (FR/EN service). I highly recommande you stop there and try " grilled spring catfish with local sauce"

  This was a really great experience as the make it yourself hotpot soup at the table was positively delicious, and our guide explained to us all of the ingredients that went into the broth that we used to cook up the ingredients which included chicken and mushrooms and bok choy and lots of other goodies. Great atmosphere and spectacular views during the day and very friendly and efficient service.

  Hello, Pu Luong—how my heart longs to return! Our final night in your breathtaking village was nothing short of magical. That restaurant… wow. From the charming chef whose BBQ skills deserve their own fan club, to the melt-in-your-mouth dishes that danced with flavour—every bite was a memory in the making. The variety of food was incredible—so many delicious options, I felt like a kid in a candy store (but with lemongrass and chili!). And the entertainers? Oh my goodness. Beautiful, hilarious, and utterly captivating. Their talent shone even brighter knowing they were also the farmers, receptionists, and everyday heroes of Pu Luong. What a community. What a vibe. I miss Vietnam deeply—its spirit, its people, its joy. Thank you for your unforgettable hospitality. I truly hope our paths cross again soon. Sending lots of hugs and gratitude, Natasha

  We were lucky enough to be introduced to Nhà háng Dăc on our arrival to Pú Luông. We returned a couple of times for dinner, on both occasions the Food was fresh and full of flavour. We thoroughly enjoyed the Duck Hot Pot and were looked after by the Lovely waitress who assisted showing how get the most of our dish. We would return at any opportunity, Thanks for a Lovely experience.

  Highly recommend for anyone that is in the area. We chose the grilled pork and beef dishes with fresh herbs and rice. It was my favourite meal in Vietnam. Very lovely and smiley staff. Thank you!

  ate at Nhà hàng Đặc Sản Pù Luông and ordered the vegetables with mushroom since there were only two vegan options on the menu. Unfortunately, the dish was very plain and didn’t have much flavor. I can’t say anything about the other dishes, but the one I tried was not anything special. The ambience, however, was very nice with a great view of the rice fields. Not a place for vegans.

  Food was lovely but not the best representation of north Vietnamese cuisine. A little bland for my liking. Notable dishes were the papaya salad and fried fish with vermicelli. Not many choices up in the mountains of Pu Luong so this is considered pretty decent. Service was excellent though- very kind and attentive. Atmosphere was 100%! Surrounded by the beauty of nature.
