We had an amazing time exploring Pu Luong with Pu Luong Eco Tours. From the very beginning, the team was so helpful and responsive, making it easy to arrange our private trekking tour. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about sharing local culture and nature. We walked through stunning rice terraces, visited peaceful villages, swam in the beautiful Hieu waterfall, and enjoyed delicious meals in a traditional stilt house. Every detail was taken care of, and the itinerary was flexible to suit our needs. We felt safe, welcome, and truly connected with the local people. This was easily one of the best experiences we had in Vietnam. Highly recommended for anyone who loves nature, culture, and authentic adventures!

I highly recommend Pu Luong Eco Tours! I did a 3-day motorbike tour and it was absolutely unforgettable. Beyond the natural beauty of Pu Luong — a peaceful, less-touristy region that offers a glimpse into authentic rural Vietnam — the experience was deeply immersive, just what I was looking for. Over the three days, I explored breathtaking landscapes and got a real sense of local life, culture, and traditions. Each day I was guided by local Easy Riders who took me through different villages, each with its own unique charm. A special mention to Vic, who also manages the wonderful Pu Luong Riverside Lodge where I stayed — such a warm and inspiring host. And to Tung, the best travel companion I could’ve asked for in Vietnam. He made one of the days truly special, introducing me to locals, sharing stories, and even taking me into people’s homes. One of my favorite memories from the whole trip!

**Unforgettable Pu Luong Adventure!** We joined the 2-day trekking tour with **Pu Luong Eco Tours**, and it was one of the best experiences during our trip in Vietnam! The guide was super friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone felt comfortable. We walked through beautiful rice terraces, met local villagers, and even tried bamboo rafting — all organized perfectly. The lunch and dinner were delicious, featuring authentic local dishes. Everything felt very personal and well arranged. Highly recommend this tour if you want to experience real nature and culture in northern Vietnam.

My recent visit to Hieu Waterfall as part of a Pu Luong tour was an absolute highlight and a truly refreshing experience. Nestled amidst the stunning terraced rice fields of Pu Luong Nature Reserve, the waterfall itself is a sight to behold – a multi-tiered cascade of cool, clear water. The trek to Hieu Waterfall was delightful, offering picturesque views of the surrounding valley and local villages. Once there, the opportunity to immerse myself in the invigorating natural pools was incredible. It’s the perfect spot to cool off after a walk and simply soak in the serene atmosphere. The lush greenery and the gentle sound of the cascading water create a truly peaceful ambiance, making you feel completely connected with nature. Beyond the waterfall, the overall Pu Luong experience, including the warm hospitality of the local communities and the delicious regional cuisine, contributed to a memorable journey. The beauty of the area is simply unparalleled, and Hieu Waterfall stands out as a jewel. I highly recommend including Hieu Waterfall in any Pu Luong itinerary. It’s a must-visit for nature lovers and anyone looking for a tranquil and beautiful escape. I can't wait to go back!

We booked a 3 day trekking tour with in Pu Luong, followed up by a 3 day motor tour at the Ha Giang loop. Pu Luong Ecotours arranged everything for us, from the moment we arrived in Pu Luong until arriving at the airport after finishing the Ha Giang loop. They stayed in close contact during the entire trip to make sure we were having a good time and check whether everything was according to the planned itinerary. Our guide Peter (Thiep) was an amazing host, he made sure we were safe and feeling okay. Discovering the Pu Luong nature reserve was incredibly peaceful, we enjoyed the simplicity of life and the authentic homestay we had the first night. On our last day Thang joined us during the hike and even stayed with us all the way to Hanoi and waited there to make sure we got on the right bus to Ha Giang. To summarize, we’re really thankful for this trip arranged into details by them and would definitely recommend other to discover Pu Luong following their philosophy!

This was the best experience in our holidays. We did 3days-2nights private tour in Mai Chau - Pu Luong. Highlights : - Super local experience. In Pu Luong we stayed in a very remote village, visited several local homes. We saw very little tourists - Food was amazing most of the time, prepared by the homestay - The trekking in Pu Luong was an incredibile experience though not so easy. So not for beginners. - Reactivity of the tour operator. Some things did not go as planned so its good to have corrections and support To be improved - we had big delay and issues during pick up to hanoi. We were brought from one car to another with people not speaking english. My advice is to clarify beforehand with the tour operator what are the modalities (bus? Taxi?) and PRECISE pick up time - homestay : precise if you are in the mood for a quite homestay or “party mood” In synthesis try to have a precise planning time by time and photos of the places you will stay to sleep, to avoid any surprise. That being said we fill that we had a great tour and we saw amazing places.
