  As a US citizen, I can not legally rent a gas-powered motorbike in Vietnam even though I have a state endorsed motorcycle licensed and AAA International Driver's Permit (which Vietnam does not recognize). I found Kai through WhatsApp. Kai offered an e-scooter capable of 50 Kms/hr and 100 km range. The scooter worked great for us. We rode two-up and went to Marble Mountain, old town Hoi An (multiple times), and toured the adjacent villages. We parked the scooter at Kai's place each morning when we walked the beach. Each time Kai replaced our battery with a fully charged battery without our asking. Replacing a battery rather than charging the existing battery is a "thing" in Vietnam...and it works well. Communication with Kai is superb, cost is reasonable, and only needed two 500k VND notes for a deposit. Highly recommend.

  Excellent motorbike rental company, went above and beyond for me and the electric motorbike was very easy to ride. I actually preferred it over most the gas powered ones Ive rented due to the smoothness and shock absorption. The electric bike rental price was more than fair especially when you factor in the free battery swaps! Overall, i was highly satisfied and would recommend this place. PLEASE NOTE: if you haven’t driven in hội a before, note that you cannot park your bike just anywhere in the old/ancient town. I did not see any signs that tell you this so be sure to politely ask a local where you should park if you are not sure! Someone may move your bike without you knowing if you park wrong so be aware of the parking rules!

  The motorbike rental was easy. We used the electric one and the petrol one. Both worked super for us. Trang and Vu the owners were really kind and helpful. And we also could extend the rental easily via WhatsApp. Also when you rent a scooter you get 15% off for the Spa treatments Trang is offering (like manicure/pedicure, lash extensions, massage etc.). Thank you very much we would do it again🌸

  Super friendly and cheap. I only had a rev and rip 50cc to explore the local area having a few hours from the family ! 😆 was electric and the charge lasted me about 4 hours. It was enough for what I needed but they do long term hire with more powerful bikes if you’re wanting t do a proper tour. Would highly recommend. Thanks guys 🏍️ 🇻🇳 🌊

  We booked three e-bikes from Kai’s. There were none available where we got there late and the staff went out of their way to get us bikes quickly. No issues at all and the bikes were fantastic. We used them for hours and went back for a replacement battery late in the afternoon, 2 minutes later we were back on the streets.

  Great prices and fantastic customer service, just a quick stop for a battery change faster then filling up petrol. Clean bike and perfect for the occasion in Da Nang. When I return will definitely rent again.

  I rented a bike for a day for only 150,000 VND. They didn’t have the e-scooter available at the time but did a few hours later. I decided to stick with the gas for the authentic experience. I tried out the e-scooter though and the ride was a lot smoother and shock absorption better. The torque wasn’t as strong as the petrol scooter though.
