A hidden gem in the An Bang beach area. A family owned restaurant that shines through in the friendly service they provide. The food is as good as we have experienced in Vietnam and extremely reasonable in price. A wide variety of both Vietnamese and Western options; plus they make an awesome cocktail. Do yourself a favour and grab a meal here, you won’t regret it.

We were wondering down the street just looking for a snack and drink. This very cute place with the lanterns caught our eyes and the staff were welcoming. Cafe chilled music in the background, very cosy homely feel. Food was top tier! Best Vietnamese pancake 💯

I came here with my family, and it became one of those meals that stays with you. The kind you think about later, without meaning to. We loved it so much that a few days later, we found ourselves back again, already knowing it would be just as good the second time. Across both visits, we ordered the steamed fish with a choice of rice or salad, lemongrass chicken with rice, egg fried rice, shrimp fried rice, egg summer rolls, chicken spring rolls, fish in a clay pot, white rose dumplings, hot lemongrass tea, fresh juices, cocktails, and beer. Every dish felt thoughtful and gentle, as though it had been made with patience. The flavours were fresh and balanced, light on the stomach, leaving behind comfort rather than heaviness. There was no lingering oil or aftertaste, only the quiet satisfaction of a meal done right. The cooking here has an unassuming grace. It does not try to stand in the spotlight, yet it holds your attention all the same. It is hard to imagine many places in Hoi An reaching this level of care and consistency. The restaurant is family run, and you feel that warmth immediately. We spoke with several members of the family, and each interaction felt easy and sincere. There was kindness in the way we were welcomed, in the way the food was served, and in the way the space was shared with us. It felt less like dining out and more like being gently invited in. The space itself is calm, lovingly maintained, and easy on the eyes. Being so close to the beach makes it perfect for a slow walk afterward, when the air is soft and the evening stretches a little longer. There is a small 5 percent charge on card payments, but the simplicity and comfort of the experience make it feel insignificant. If I ever return to Hoi An, this is a place I will come back to, not just for the food, but for the feeling it leaves behind.

As a restaurant owner I don’t claim to be the worlds best food critic but I can sniff out a wonderful multi generational restaurant. Grandpa was cooking up in the kitchen. Mom running front of house and dad taking care of the kids in the family home out back. Just a heart warming environment! My daughter and I came here a couple times ordered 7-8 dishes. We were beyond impressed by the complex flavour structures, presentation and portion sizes. Wish I’d taken more pics but just look at that squid. Maybe the best batter I’ve ever had. A wonderful room to try the flavours of Vietnam. We’ll be back, again and again! Thank you for all your hard work Rustic❤️

Loved the food, loved the service and the atmosphere. I sincerely mean that you will not go wrong in any way by coming here. We had the most amazing deep fried prawns followed by the most amazing fish grilled in banana leaf and fish cooked in a clay pot with steamed rice....perfect and we are not massive fish eaters. Coconut ice cream was delightful and just look around, no one seems to not enjoy whatever they have. Thank you❤️

We came a few days ago and liked it so much we had to come back! Delicious food, tasty drinks and friendly service - what’s not to like! We had the fried shrimp, Vietnamese pancake and they specialise in Mahi Mahi fish, everything was amazing. Highly recommend checking this restaurant out if you’re in An Bang or even Hoi An (Grab only 50k to here)
