Best bar in Vietnam. Make the trip to Vung Tau. You won’t be sorry. Everything about this place is a win. Food so good. Cold drinks. And the staff are the best I found in Vietnam. The owner isn’t bad either. Great atmosphere. Good times. And all the sports.

We went early. The atmosphere was relaxed, fun waitresses, friendly place. Sat inside, and thus clear air. The fajitas were way beyond expectation. Huge portion and extremely flavorful. Due to it being a bar restaurant combo I imagine the atmosphere would be very different if you go around the dinner hour versus later in the evening.

An excellent bar, so cheap with the promo card, all UK football, Owner Stevie was an excellent host, very accommodating and so helpful, would highly recommend this bar, although I never ate there the food look amazing as they had just poached a top chef

Finding a spot that nails the "industrial-cool" aesthetic while serving up high-quality Western fare isn't always easy in a coastal city, but Ironworks Saloon Bar & Grill is a definitive standout in Vũng Tàu. I’m always on the lookout for places that offer more than just a meal—they offer a mood—and Ironworks delivers that in spades. The Atmosphere: Industrial Grit Meets Coastal Chill The design of Ironworks is a breath of fresh air. It leans heavily into its name with an industrial, rustic interior—think exposed metal, dark wood, and a layout that feels spacious yet intimate. Whether you're sitting at the bar for a drink or settling into a booth for dinner, the vibe is effortlessly cool and welcoming to both expats and travelers. The Culinary Experience This is where Ironworks really shines. While many bars settle for "good enough" pub grub, the kitchen here is clearly firing on all cylinders: * The Steaks & Grills: They are known for their precision with meat. The steaks are consistently well-seared and seasoned, easily rivaling high-end steakhouses but at a much more approachable price point. * Pub Classics: Their burgers and ribs are massive, messy, and exactly what you crave. The portions are generous—very much in line with the "Saloon" theme. * Drink Selection: The bar is well-stocked, featuring a great selection of cold beers and surprisingly sophisticated cocktails. It’s the kind of place where you come for the food but stay for three more rounds. Service & Community What sets Ironworks apart from the more "touristy" beachfront joints is the level of service. The staff is attentive and often speaks excellent English, making it a comfortable hub for the international community. It’s a social nerve center in Vũng Tàu, often hosting events or sports screenings that bring a lively energy to the room. If you’re looking for a bit of fresh air, try to snag a seat in the outdoor area. It’s perfect for people-watching and enjoying the Vũng Tàu evening breeze while tucking into a plate of their famous ribs. Also, keep an eye on their social media—they often have excellent mid-week specials that offer incredible value.
