Awesome views and photo opportunities. There's some snack shops. Unfortunately you cannot enter or climb the light house. It costs about 24000 to park. The drive is nice, passing some small villages on the way up.

The Vung Tau lighthouse was the last place I visited during my trip here, offering a panoramic view of this small city, da road is romantic w gentle sunshine, there are also a few food stalls nearby where u can find shade. locals are friendly.

The light house offered nothing special itself as you would not be able to go inside. It's architecture was nice, however, the location closed at 5pm so you would not see the light house's light up close. This location offered a very nice view of the city and into the peninsula. However, the view was quiet limited as it was covered by trees and buildings. There were a lot of benchs and shades to sit and take in the view. I had a very relaxing time enjoying the view as there was not a lot of visitors at the time of my visit. The light house had parking spaces for car and motorcycle. For motorcycle, the fee was 5000 VND.

I love the view of Vung Tau from the spot. It could be a rewarding scene for hiking/biking trip. Though for car drivers, park somewhere else than the lighthouse area. Some random guy just knock at your door asking for 30k.

Time well spent with truly breathtaking views. You can’t go inside the lighthouse itself, which is good to know in advance, but the area around it is well worth the visit. There are places to sit, walk around the full circle, and several great photo spots. Free parking for motorbikes is also available. A lovely short trip with fantastic panoramic views of the city, and the surrounding area offers several beautiful spots with stunning views of the sea. Highly recommended if you enjoy scenery and relaxed sightseeing. 🌅✨

Beautiful views and a great spot to catch the breeze. Just be warned if you take a grab up to the top it is unlikely you will get one back. I made the mistake of just getting a ride up. I had to walk back. It was okay though as there are some beautiful cafes on the way back down 😁

The plan was to walk up but as I visited on school holidays the road was very busy up with too many vehicles. Not really much at the top just the small lighthouse but a very nice view.

The Vung Tau Lighthouse is an absolute must-visit if you’re in the city. The panoramic views of the coastline, the city skyline, and the Christ the King statue on the opposite hill are breathtaking. The Highlights The View: Easily the best vantage point in Vung Tau. You get a 360-degree look at the ocean and the urban landscape. It's particularly stunning for photography. The Lighthouse: The structure itself is well-maintained, classic white, and offers a cool historical vibe. The Walk Up: The winding road to the top is lined with beautiful trees. If you’re feeling active, it’s a pleasant hike, but you can also ride a motorbike or take a car right to the entrance. Pro-Tips Timing: Visit during the "Golden Hour" just before sunset. The lighting is magical, and it’s much cooler than the midday heat. Yogurt & Eggs: Don’t forget to stop at the famous "Co Tien" shop nearby for some soft-boiled eggs and yogurt—it’s a local tradition! Crowds: It can get a bit busy on weekends, so try a weekday morning if you want a more peaceful experience. Overall: A free (or very cheap, depending on parking) activity that offers a million-dollar view. Definitely worth the trip!
