  I had a pleasant stay at Muong Thanh. The room was clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable environment throughout my visit. The service was attentive and professional, with staff always ready to assist promptly and courteously. The hotel’s location is excellent, making it convenient to access nearby attractions, restaurants, and transportation. Overall, Muong Thanh offers a reliable and enjoyable experience, combining cleanliness, good service, and a prime location. I would recommend it to travelers looking for both comfort and convenience.

  Walking distance to the beach, there's a porch on the corridor where you can see the view of the beach. However definitely need to put more work on the breakfast menu, doesnt really represent the hotel quality 🙏

  I stayed at Muong Thanh Hotel during a work trip and found the room clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly, and breakfast had a nice mix of local and Western options. Convenient location and good value for the price.

  Our stay ended on a very unpleasant note due to how the checkout situation was handled. When we checked into our family room (for 4 people), the room came with: • 2 bottles of 500ml water inside the fridge • 4 bottles of 500ml water placed at the minibar area At checkout, the receptionist informed us that only 350ml bottles were complimentary and that we had to pay 20,000 VND (~1 USD) for the 500ml bottle we used. However, when they showed us their “photo evidence,” the photo clearly displayed 2 bottles of 350ml water inside the fridge — which was already different from what we actually received. This indicates that the room had been incorrectly prepared or documented by the staff from the beginning. Instead of acknowledging a possible mistake on their side, the receptionist loudly used a walkie-talkie to question the cleaning staff in front of us and attempted to imply that we had taken or used items improperly. It felt like we were being accused over 20,000 VND. The issue is not the money — it is the way it was handled. For a hotel that advertises itself as a 4-star luxury property, this level of professionalism is disappointing. We have stayed at 2–3 star hotels where even lost slippers were handled more respectfully without making guests feel uncomfortable. Other downsides: • Very weak WiFi — we had to rely on mobile data the entire stay. • Our 6th floor room had no view. • The lobby air-conditioning was not turned on, making the space uncomfortable. • Breakfast (~12 USD per person) was basic and comparable to a 2-star hotel. • A family room for 4 was stocked with toiletries, minibar items, and complimentary water as if it were prepared for only 2 guests. Pros: • The bellboy was friendly and helpful. • Convenient location, walking distance to the beach and convenience stores. Overall, this experience does not match the 4-star label. Service quality and professionalism matter more than branding, and unfortunately, this hotel failed in that aspect. We will not return.

  Had a neutral experience up until checkout. Was not given a floor towel in the bathroom, not knowing that it should have been issued to us. Upon checkout, they had us wait so they could check the room. We waited 30 minutes just for them to tell us that the towel was missing and that they had to charge us a fee. The whole situation is a scam, I would not recommend staying here if you are looking for secure and a worry-free experience. Very disappointed.

  The only positive thing I can say about this hotel is that our room was spacious and clean. However, our stay was completely ruined by an absurd accusation from the staff. On checkout, we were shockingly accused of stealing a face towel from the bathroom. Not only did we *not* take it (why would we?), but we had even left a generous tip for the housekeeping team as a gesture of appreciation. It was humiliating and unnecessary. The lack of trust and respect overshadowed any positives about the room. Save yourself the stress—there are far better hotels in Vũng Tàu where guests aren’t falsely accused *after* paying for their stay and leaving tips. Never returning.

  When we arrived to this hotel at 12:30 p.m, and we also asked Receptionist that can we receive room soon, she also told us wait for a minute, she will inform us later. When we wait for her feedback, also have many family and couples come and check in, they also receive the room at this time. And we still wait for her feedback up to 2 p.m (time for getting room) they still not inform us to receive the room. We have to come there to ask them to receive room. Bad service.
