Great experience at Premier Pearl Hotel. Very good value for money. Location’s great with the sea and a beach just in front of the hotel, and next to the entry (~10-15min walk) of the Christ statue. Rooms are clean and the view is good. Last but not least, the employees are very kind and helpful. And I want to thank Ms. Naomi-My again for helping us book the limousine-van for the airport! Small negative note about breakfast BUT this is surely due to the fact that we are Europeans and therefore used to other types of breakfast.

Stayed here for 2 nights. The staff were very polite and enthusiastic, and the security guard even offered valet parking for our bikes. This place has everything, rooftop bar, restaurants, pub, infinity pool, and more. The breakfast was excellent, better than most hotels I’ve stayed at in Vung Tau. The location is great too, just a 100m walk to the beach, with many convenience stores and F&B services nearby. Highly recommended for couples traveling. Would definitely come back next time.

The Premier Pearl Hotel is absolutely stunning—truly beyond beautiful and luxurious. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the staff, even being escorted with umbrellas to the check-in hall, which made a great first impression. The customer service here is top-notch and consistently attentive. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and offered a breathtaking view. Both the breakfast buffet and the seafood dinner buffet were incredibly delicious, with a wide variety of high-quality options. Overall, an amazing experience—I would definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and upscale stay.

Premier Pearl Hotel is an excellent hotel as it sits right next to the beach, there are some tweaks that should be made to be done. First of all, the internet is really slow, now this isn’t like most hotels where your room has a private wifi network just for you, the entire network is shared with all guests which slow down the efficiency. Next, paying extra for meals, now paying extra to eat supper here is outrageous as all meals should be included with booking, after spending about 2 million VND for the room (100 CAD) it was disappointing that these meals weren’t all inclusive. Now the service was amazing, the staff was gentle and enthusiastic the meals were pretty good too, but this hotel lowered my expectations.

The Premier Pearl Hotel has a prime location along the beachfront in Vung Tau and the views from the 19th floor are breathtaking. It caters for large tour groups, mostly from China and South Korea; westerners were few and far between. We found the whole checkin process regimented to the point that guests have to sign a form acknowledging the hotel policies, such as not bringing FOOD or DRINKS from outside. Breaching these conditions incurs a fine of VND 2,000,000. This made us nervous as we always travel with snacks. Also, the shower was only ever lukewarm. Breakfast was excellent and included an extensive collection of local and western dishes. For the price, the hotel is good value for money.

PREMIER PEARL — goodbye, and definitely never again. From my own experience and after reading many other reviews, I realized we are clearly not the only guests who have gone through situations like this. So if you choose to stay at this hotel, please take time during check-in to carefully inspect every single item in your room to minimize unnecessary risks that could completely ruin your vacation. And honestly, if you don’t have the time or energy to do that, you may be better off choosing another hotel — otherwise, you might end up paying fines for something that was never your fault in the first place. What made this even worse was how the situation was handled. Even my friend, who had already booked and paid for two additional nights, felt extremely disappointed by the staff’s attitude and the way we were immediately suspected, blamed, and treated as if we were dishonest. In the end, she decided to cancel the remaining paid booking and leave the hotel immediately. Our experience for whom may need to refer: “My first truly terrible and careless experience at a 4-star hotel. The body wash was empty, and I had to use hand soap to shower after swimming because my body was already wet and I couldn’t just walk out and wait for housekeeping to bring a refill. After showering, the hair dryer didn’t work either, so I had to call Reception again to request a replacement. Worst of all was during check-out. We were accused of damaging an ironing board cover and were asked to pay a 250,000 VND penalty. The truth? We did NOT burn the cover. My sister simply tried to fold the ironing board back after using it, and the cover slipped off. On the underside, there was already a small burnt mark that looked old and clearly not fresh damage. We asked the hotel to inspect the iron itself for burn marks. The housekeeping manager later came down to the lobby with both the cover and the iron — and unsurprisingly, the iron showed absolutely no sign of burning. Yet she still insisted that their staff “always checks every ironing board cover carefully before every guest checks in.” At that moment, I honestly regret not asking:“If your staff checks everything so carefully before check-in, then why weren’t the empty body wash bottle and broken hair dryer detected beforehand?” The attitude was disappointing. The way they handled the issue was worse. It genuinely felt like they were trying every possible way to shift blame onto guests. We are adults and fully capable of taking responsibility if we actually damage something. What makes this even more disappointing is that my sister had already made a direct booking for two more nights. But after this experience, she decided to cancel the stay entirely — even though it was non-refundable.”

The first room they gave us on arrival overlooked a building site, wasn't particularly clean, and smelled of cigarette smoke. The staff were very friendly, and moved us to another room that was much nicer.Overall it was a beautiful room, and a very nice place to stay. It could do with some improvements regarding noise level though, as the construction next door is very invasive and the screams from the beach are very loud too.Overall the staff were what made this a nice stay. They were very friendly, helpful and genuinely wanted us to have a nice stay.

I had an extremely disappointing and unacceptable experience at Premier Pearl Hotel Vung Tau, and I feel obligated to warn other travelers.||The room assigned to members of my group had a serious sanitation issue. The toilet was clearly malfunctioning—there was a persistent foul odor, and at its worst, sewage water backed up from the toilet, flooding the bathroom and even spilling into the main room area. This is absolutely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one claiming a 4-star standard.||To make matters worse, basic housekeeping standards were not met. Toiletries were not properly refreshed upon check-in, and there were even spider webs on the curtains, which is shocking and reflects poor maintenance and cleanliness.||I did raise these issues with the front desk, and to their credit, the reception team was responsive and tried to assist. However, the damage to my experience was already done. When we were moved to another room, the housekeeping staff demonstrated poor communication skills and unprofessional behavior, despite speaking the same language.||Overall, this experience has severely damaged my perception of the hotel. It completely disrupted my vacation.||A few additional notes:| • The lobby looks decent at first glance, but the rooftop area is heavily overhyped. In reality, it feels cheap and poorly designed, with no cohesive connection to the rest of the hotel.| • The afternoon tea service is underwhelming and not worthy of a 4-star hotel.| • The swimming pool was under maintenance during my stay. The hotel claimed this was announced on booking platforms, but I found no clear notice on Google or from the booking agent.||At this point, I will continue to monitor how the hotel handles this situation and update my review accordingly. I also intend to report this experience on multiple platforms.||In conclusion: this hotel does NOT deserve its 4-star rating.|I strongly advise travelers to exercise caution and carefully reconsider before booking here, unless you are willing to risk serious hygiene and service issues.||I sincerely hope my next destinations will not result in such a negative experience.
