The food is amazing. The atmostphere is so friendly and warm-welcoming! The staff are not only professional, but also kind. Especially Ms. Thao is warm-hearted and hospitable. We enjoy her company and service. Ms. Trang is also nice in helping us with the food and ...the kids. A strong recommendation for families with small kids. My kids enjoy staying here so much that they consider this place as reward after study for a vacation..

Pretty good breakfast. The danishes are not to western taste as they use the shortening everybody uses here so it doesn’t taste right. The rest is great. The room is spacious. During the day the restaurant is emptied but the dishes are good. The drinks are just aight.

On our last morning, we dropped by StrEATs Restaurant, the in-house restaurant of Ibis Styles Vung Tau for their buffet breakfast. The variety was actually quite good, ranging from local food (rice noodles, fried rice, stew beef, stir-fried vegetables) to international selection such as sushi, sausages, eggs station, cereals and fruits. Our favourite was definitely the Vietnamese Coffee where you can take a large cup of ice and pour the rich and aromatic Vietnamese Coffee over the ice. Absolutely love it. And for 290K VND (after 50% Accor Plus discount) for 2 people, the breakfast was quite affordable (~$18 SGD for 2). However, in terms of quality, don’t place your expectations too high and you’ll have an enjoyable experience ahead! For the full review of our stay at Ibis Styles Vung Tau, visit 2bearbear today!

Food: basic, bland or not having desired layers. The stewed fish was over salty. Veggies was not fresh (still feel the bitterness proving the flowers were old). Most of the dishes were served cold due to unattentive staffs. We had to make a scene just to rush them to bring out the food. Staffs: unattentive, not well-trained up to restaurant level (e.g. gather to chit chat, no paying to guest’s table). The man in black had no attitudes. My dad was furious for late food delivery and that man in black kept walking with blunt face, saying the kitchen had some problems. He didn’t even stayed still to show respect to a senior person. Atmosphere: metropolitan, basic, quite similar to other dorm-style hotels. Thanks for your hospitality. I would never come back again.

Had one of my worst dining experiences in a long time here today. I ordered a Vietnamese fish dish, which turned out to smell and taste fishy. The preparation of the fish and the undercooked pork belly were also very bad. After sending back the entire dish to the kitchen, I was told they were going to discount the dish by 25% for me and also take my drink off the receipt. Considering the fact that I barely ate anything and that it was actually inedible, I would've expected a restaurant that wants to keep high standards and that is linked to one of the world's major hotel chains, to not charge me at all for it. Moving forward, I ordered a beef burger, thinking that you can't really mess up a dish like that. They proved me wrong. While the burger was edible, the taste was really nothing special, even bland. The french fries didn't bring them any favors either, as they were literally one of the worst fries I have eaten in a long, long time! When we needed to pay, we got two receipts, which we first needed to add to each other to figure out what they actually wanted us to pay. In the end, we didn't even get the full 25% discount on the fish dish, as the "steamed rice", which I was asked if I wanted it to the fish when ordering, was excluded from the discount. Overall, this restaurant is to be avoided at all costs, I cannot think that any other restaurants in the area would give you a worse dining experience.

Lovely ambience, solid service, but food that cannot match in quality. Disappointing pho, ok fries, and a sad fish, even the white rice was stale...
