  this hotel is so nice! airy cozy rooms, great design, has such a vibe! yes, it’s not new, but still great. love the stuff too this place made my vacation so much better 🤍

  5 stars because of value for money and location. I have a stayed here for close to 9 months over a few years. Rooms at the back are quietest and coolest. You can't beat the location, in the middle of everything. Two great cafes either side, one catering for locals and Westerners and the other a French restaurant, ice cream shop across the road and the beach just one street away. During Chrissy, New Year and Tet, it can get lively so be prepared for that. Please note the pictures I've taken off the internet but are a correct representation

  I enjoyed my 3 night stay in this hotel. For the cheap price I had a nice clean balcony room. Wifi was strong and the location is great near many nice restaurants and the beach. They organized my laundry for 50000 dong a kilo. I did ask reception about a bus to Mui Ne and was told there was none. Although I went to the bus station and found a bus running at 12.30pm.

  It's old. Old school is cool. I didn't expect to like it so I booked for just 1 night but stayed for 2. Room at the front with a balcony was very decent. Bed uber comfy. Boiling water for the bath. The room had everything I needed and it was quite clean. The bathroom was spotless. The reception guys were cool. My bicycle slept in reception. I'd stay there again anytime.

  Run down and dirty. Polite staff but was the most expensive place I stayed and was the worst sadly. The pictures dont match the rooms.

  I was very pleased with the Mercury Hotel until check out time, where they asked for an extra 100 vnd sur-charge for towel use. The room itself cost only 300 k vnd. One One of the reasons they showed me, was a thread bare towel. It was a if I dried myself so throughly that I wore so the fuzz off. An old, used up towel, that should not have even been in a guest's roo anymore. 100k vnd to wash the towels. A requirement by law in the hotel business. Their requirement, your expense. The staff seemed embarrasse-cd by the policy but said management requires it. So I paid it because I know management like this would have taken it from their salaries. Stated room cost - 300k, ACTUAL COST - 400 K

  Basic but....Clean & Quiet Hotel, on a great location, but above all Great & Friendly Staff.|I will come back when traveling to VungTau again.
