  If you like gritty, authentic local markets that don't cater in the slightest to tourists, this is the place for you. Lots of variety and quite extensive. I have read it's a great place to eat, but we came midmorning and only found a few options.

  Quite large and split into sections Watch a masterclass in women skimming and gutting fish all around you; snakes, excellent fruits. A morning stroll and extravaganza for the senses! Enjoy

  A small market but well stocked. Went here to buy an umbrella and was able to find a good one.

  An eclectic mix of stalls with hairdressers, nail bars, tattoos, massages etc. scattered among the vegetables and t shirts. Jam packed with stalls, might be a problem if you're claustrophobic. Fun people watching and taking pictures, if you ask stall holders whether they mind first.

  It's a market.. It's a boreing market. Why you ask.. Unfortunately in Vietnam especially.. When you vist a market all the stalls are selling the same food products. I have seen this across my extensive trips around Vietnam... If you have one stall selling mango. I gaurantee you have 20 more stalls selling mangos. There is know variety here it's the same thing at each stall Which is disappointing.. And the vendors get very pissed if you do not buy from them... So yes it's a market. But it's a very boreing market after the first 5 minutes..
