The first time I experienced this hotel, I felt satisfied, clean, limited noise, close to the shrines and Chau Doc market, not too far away

What a great hotel just a 10 minute walk from the Victoria Hotel dock where our boat from Phnom Penh arrived. Really smooth check-in process and great recommendations on where to eat near by as our arrival was 60 minutes late. We were allocated a room on the 2nd floor which we thought might be a little noisy but the soundproofing was excellent. We slept exceptionally well and woke to the gentle sound of music outside. On looking out of the window a group of pensioners were doing t’ai chi across the road. The room was spacious with a large bathroom with a walk in shower. There was a large, firm but comfortable bed with lovely semi firm pillows which guaranteed a great nights sleep. Being lazy we took breakfast in the hotel. Although not an extensive menu, we did have loads to eat including baguettes, bacon, sausage, eggs, fresh fruit, yoghurt and a choice of freshly squeezed juice, tea or coffee. A thank you to the most helpful young man on reception (sorry I didn’t get your name) and a big message of thanks to Vy from the restaurant who not only prepared our breakfast, but she arranged our transfer to the FUTA Bus Station. Her English is excellent (learnt from TV and western music & being fellow Queen fans we could have chatted for hours) All in all a great hotel, conveniently located for the speedboat between Cambodia and Vietnam.

Had an amazing experience at the Paris hotel, the front desk was so welcoming and helped us throughout our stay with activity recommendations, motorbike hire, and the rooms were very clean and spacious. Perfect place to stay before catching the ferry to Cambodia. We accidentally left a few items in the hotel room and they were incredibly helpful sending the items to us and ensuring it got to us safely. 10/10 recommend. Thank you!!

This was the first hotel we stayed at during our visit to Vietnam, and overall it was a very pleasant experience. The staff were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to assist us. When we asked for directions and advice on tours around town, they recommended their own driver, who — after some research on our part — turned out to be more affordable than options we found online. What impressed us even more was that they also offered alternative ways to explore independently, without pushing their own services. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. We appreciated their genuine helpfulness and would definitely consider staying here again.

Stayed at Paris Hotel Châu Đốc mainly for its convenient location after arriving by boat from Cambodia and before starting a Mekong bike ride. The location is definitely the main advantage—very handy and practical for transit stays. However, the rooms are quite basic, and the overall facilities are fairly minimal as well. It’s fine for a short stopover if you just need somewhere to sleep in a good location, but don’t expect much in terms of comfort or amenities.

⸻||A Hidden Gem with Exceptional Service – Highly Recommended||I spent three nights at Paris Hotel in Chau Doc, An Giang province, and was genuinely impressed. As a long-term expat in Vietnam, I’ve seen a range of accommodations — this one stands out for its calm atmosphere, cleanliness, and outstanding hospitality. The owners and staff were incredibly kind, patient, and spoke excellent English, which made everything smooth.||Breakfasts were fresh and western-style: eggs, bacon, bread, coffee — all reasonably priced (~90,000 VND). Rooms were spotless, attended to daily with fresh towels and tidy beds. The hotel arranged fantastic excursions for us, including a bird sanctuary and a two-boat Mekong Delta trip, plus visits to a silk weaving and dyeing center. Our driver, Ahmed, was warm and welcoming, even inviting us to a local Muslim event. The cars were spacious, clean, and comfortable.||Highly recommend for anyone wanting a restful and authentic experience in a more remote part of Vietnam.🇻🇳

Lovely hotel, well located, clean, welcoming. The room (404) was fab, large, clean and the best hot shower of the trip so far. All the staff were great and so helpful. Great breakfast too. If I ever make it back to Chau Doc, and I hope to, I’ll definitely stay here.
