The hotel staff is extremely friendly and always makes every effort to fulfill all wishes. At the restaurant, the service is equally attentive and professional. My waiter was especially kind, polite, and very quick in serving me. His name was Lom Son Pruhang (I may not recall the exact spelling), and he left a truly positive impression. Overall, a wonderful stay with excellent hospitality. Highly recommended!

Stayed for two night. The staff were so helpful and went totally out of their way for us, contacting the bus company to ensure we were picked up. We stayed in a room for three and it was great with a lounge room and bedroom. Beds are firm and pillows flat (very Vietnamese) in easy walking distance to river, markets, lots of places to eat

Delicious food and a wonderful experience. After travelling through Vietnam, this was a brilliant place to end our journey before travelling to Cambodia. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, with special thanks to Lâm Sơn Phương. They even arranged a delicious Vietnamese coffee and breakfast for us to take for our early journey. Highly recommended!

The hotel has definitely seen better days, though no one seems to remember when exactly that was. Calling it “classic” would be generous; “old and tired” is far more accurate. A full renovation isn’t just recommended, it’s begging to happen. If you’re looking to sleep, good luck. There’s a bar right across the street blasting music late into the night, and it feels like the party’s happening right in your room. Earplugs won’t help much unless they come with noise‑canceling windows. Breakfast is… let’s say functional. Coffee and tea come from those big metal thermoses that have seen more mornings than most guests, and they taste exactly like you’d imagine, slightly nostalgic, mostly forgettable. But hey, at least it’s hot. Overall, it might have potential if someone invested in fresh paint, proper soundproofing, and maybe a reality check. Until then, it’s more of a museum of what hotels used to be, just louder.

An amazing meal, it was a feast for us, loved the sauce with the red snapper and perfect service from start to finish - would recommend anyone to try this restaurant! 10/10
