Had a truly wonderful evening dining with friends at The Hudson Room! The food was excellent, perfectly suited to our tastes and absolutely delicious. The highlights of the meal were definitely the Tiramisu, which was decadent and perfectly executed, and the magnificent seafood platter. Both are must tries! The staff were incredibly attentive and thoughtful, ensuring we had everything we needed. A huge thank you and shout out to Mai, Dũng, and Mike for their wonderful service. We highly recommend THR for a great night out!

Had a really enjoyable dinner at The Hudson Room. The ambiance feels like stepping back into New York’s golden era. We tried the crispy cauliflower, Wagyu tartare, scallop in porchetta, and dry-aged duck breast. The scallop and duck breast were excellent, while the tartare was just okay. Service was perfect throughout.

Truly one of the most special dinners I’ve had in Hanoi. Everything from the service, to the food, to the ambience was superb. The oysters were a delicious standout for me and paired well with their unique cocktail list. Would love to come back!

Great for group eating or dating or business meeting. The food here is classic food type, nothing of too creative the italian food was really authentic, both pasta was good, i tried all desserts i like the tiramisu creme brulee most Steak and duck was also good i have nothing to complain the staffs are friendly and its a great restaurant in the centre of Hanoi my friend have a regular customer card so 25% off and we have 6 people so we get to try a lot at a reasonable price and we eat a lot but if you are couple, it would run around 2 mil per person ( exclusive of drink)

Wouldn’t have come if not for the downpour in Hanoi and it did not disappoint. Food was sensational and service was attentive. Must order the French oysters. Beef cheeks melts in your mouth. The Hudson Rooms definitely earned its place at Capella Hanoi. Highly recommend hotel guests to visit to if looking for a break from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Brunch are decents, except for the hot a la carte menu. Oysters are too small compare to the value

An upscale dining place on the roof of the hotel, which is based on the theme of 1920's New York train station. The cocktails were okayish, the oysters were pretty good, the steak was a 4/5. They have a speakeasy in the premises which houses some top liquors and a top bartender. Service is absolutely fantastic, no denying that.

Background The Hudson Rooms sit perched atop the Capella Hanoi hotel. This rooftop bar opened in 2022 as a sophisticated homage to Grand Central Station's golden age of travel. Ambience The space is undeniably classy and sleek, bathed in warm, low lighting with elegant marble countertops and plush seating. The Art Deco design elements and the gentle golden pink hues of sunset filtering through the windows create a genuinely romantic setting. Service Service is polished and friendly, with teams trained to anticipate needs and execute standards that match the setting. Food/Drink The drinks are classical, well executed, and undeniably good. The cocktail menu draws inspiration from train lines departing Grand Central Terminal. However, they are not out of the ordinary for a venue of this calibre, lacking the boundary-pushing innovation found at dedicated cocktail destinations. The food leans into refined bar bites and seafood, with oysters and seafood towers receiving most praise. In my experience, the mains and bar snacks were serviceable but not memorable, and the pricing is emphatically premium. Overall The Hudson Rooms is a beautiful bar offering a gorgeous setting and reliably good drinks. The service is polished, and the atmosphere is undeniably romantic.
