We stayed in the cutest Airbnb right above this place. Came down for coffee every morning. They have good banh mi and Anthony Bourdain had one here. The croissants and coffee are also great. Photos taken on their third floor balcony.

I really enjoyed eating at Ga Hanoi Cafe. I thought it was well located and easy to find. I appreciated that the cafe had long opening hours and was a comfortable place to rest and relax. It was very clean. We came for breakfast. I liked that it had a good mix of traditional Vietnamese as well as Western meals. I ordered a chicken banh mi. It was delicious. The roll was crusty with a fluffy interior. My friend ordered a big western breakfast. The portion size was very generous and it was even tastier than my sandwich! We also ordered an iced coffee and a mango smoothie. The coffee was strong and rich. The smoothie was refreshing. I found meals here to be affordable and good value. I would recommend eating here and would definitely come again.

Amazing coffee shop. The food is amazing big portions and really good prices, not overpriced at all. Many healthy choices. The coffees and matchaa are both super nice. They also have outdoor seating on a higher floor which is a great vibe. The staff are incredibly friendly and make the whole experience even better. Definitely recommend!

We had breakfast here early in the morning after arriving in Hanoi. We couldn’t end up in a better place. Very welcoming staff, an amazing coffee and the best toast avocado I have eaten in a long time. We went again for a second coffee 😄. They have a nice balcony which has an amazing view of the city waking up. Use the elevator to get there.

My girlfriend and I have been coming to Ga Hanoi Cafe every morning for breakfast and coffee, and we always receive the quickest, kindest, and most enthusiastic service from Jason. He’s given us recommendations, helped us navigate the city, and has just become a really good friend within a short period of time. PLUS, the food and drinks here are phenomenal. Best egg coffee we’ve had in Hanoi by far!!

I came with no real expectations just based on the reviews. Easy to find, servers very polite ans quick on their service and you must try their Mango Matcha Latte... yummy yummy Relaxed ambiance like you are inside of a train... chilled! Where could I find this when I get back to Panama? I need it.

What a cute and quaint cafe with amazing coffee and cold beer! Oh and they have decent bathrooms with toilet paper!! Their banh mi sandwich was so delicious! Sat outside on the street and watched the traffic go by and enjoyed our coffee!! You have to stop here and try it!

**Was anyone actually in the kitchen?** Forty minutes for a black coffee is not a waiting time — it's a full chapter of your morning gone. I walked into Ga Hanoi Cafe hoping for a slow vegetarian breakfast, but we watched the room fill and empty while our table stayed bare ☕. The coffee finally arrived with a straw tucked into scalding liquid — designed, it seemed, to burn the lip before the first sip. The bun was dry and pale 🥐, forgetting it was ever warm. My companion's plate came fifteen minutes after I finished eating — cold and lonely on the table. Used dishes sat on nearby tables, uncleared, and the open kitchen revealed a mess that quietly killed any appetite I had left. I'm always happy to leave a glowing 5 stars review when a place earns it. I'm writing this one hoping the owner sees it and wants to bring the good vibe back — that's worth more than inflated five-star reviews appearing daily 💭. Would you rather hear the truth, or a polished lie? #HanoiCafes #VegetarianTravel #HonestReview #OwnerPleaseRead #SlowService #HanoiEats #vegan
