  I had a really positive experience at Tokyo International Clinic in Hanoi while being assessed for pneumonia. The staff were very helpful throughout. They even arranged for a driver and nurse to take me between hotel, a local facility for a CT scan, and the clinic, which made things much easier. Everything was organized quickly and efficiently, and minimal waiting involved. Dr. Kobay was also great: very thorough, took the time to explain everything clearly, and laid out a clear treatment plan. He also helped prepare medical documents for my airline and followed up with me over WhatsApp for several days, which I really appreciated. Overall, I felt well taken care of and am very grateful for the attention I received.

  I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Kobay and his staff during my brief stay in Hanoi. He was communicative and clear over a messenger app, then sent a driver to me for a clinic visit. Dr. Kobay and his nurses are the most professional and kind medical staff I've met. They've even checked on me outside clinic hours and followed up on further advice and answers as my issue progressed toward recovery. I'm already feeling much better as I write this. Hopefully you won't need any medical support while you visit the city, but if you do- definitely see Dr. Kobay!

  5-star treatment! Dr. Kobay helped immensely when my wife got sick during our stay in Hanoi. He was professional, attentive, and took the time to clearly explain everything, which made a stressful situation much easier to handle. What really stood out was the follow-up care his recommendations and support over WhatsApp after the visit were a lifesaver and gave us real peace of mind. He also shared valuable local knowledge on how to best manage recovery while traveling in Vietnam, including practical tips to stay comfortable and navigate things more easily, which we really appreciated. We visited on 2nd May 2026 and couldn’t be more grateful for the level of care we received. Highly recommend this clinic to anyone needing reliable, English-speaking medical support in Hanoi.

  I had a very very nice experience at this clinic. I came without an appointment and didn’t had to wait. The doctor took his time and explained everything to me. I am travelling alone and this made me feel very safe! My wound healed good after only a few days and I’m still in contact with the doctor on WhatsApp. I also got some recommendations in Hanoi from him which were very good! He’s very funny and professional and I truly felt safe and understood in the clinic. I couldn’t recommend this clinic more!!

  I had an excellent experience at this clinic with Dr. Kobay. He was extremely attentive, professional, and genuinely caring. Dr. Kobay took the time to listen carefully, explained everything clearly, and never made me feel rushed — he spent as much time as needed to address all of my concerns. He also went above and beyond by consulting me on issues outside the original reason for my visit. The entire team was very friendly, supportive, and made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. It’s rare to find a clinic where both the doctor and staff show such dedication and compassion. I felt truly well cared for and highly recommend Dr. Kobay and this clinic.

  Dr. Kobay is my favorite doctor I have encountered. I had to get a highly unpleasant procedure, and he somehow had me laughing the whole time. He was very generous with his time, understanding of my situation, and so kind afterwards when following up with me to make sure I was feeling better. So grateful I found this clinic and would highly recommend it to foreigners looking for an English-speaking doctor!

  Amazing!! I could visit the same day and he sent a car to pick me up. Docter was really caring and took his time. Still checking in on my condition after 2 weeks. Speaks good english and is really helpful!

  I decided to contact the clinic through WhatsApp after having some conflicting issues with another hospital and other travelers had high referrals of the service here. I received immediate professional advice through WhatsApp and they were able to see me with little wait once I arrived. I had to get stitches removed from a freak accident the week prior and the doctor here was very thorough and spoke English conversationally. The price will reflect one of international standards but if you don’t have travel insurance, they’re willing to work with you. The whole staff was very polite and kind, if you have been to Japan before, this is the same level of respect and regard. I was very impressed that the doctor followed up with me a week later through WhatsApp to see if things were ok with my healing- you’ll rarely get that level of service in the west. Thank you again for the help, esp when one is traveling and anything medical related throws a wrench in plans.
