If you're an international - I highly recommend coming here as there are quite a few Hospitals in Hanoi. Admitted my partner to emergency, all the staff there were very helpful and spoke enough English to make the process easier. The day room she was put in afterwards was good, and all the staff that assisted with the recovery, were great. Overall the cost was around $2-3k, but our insurance covered it.

Traduci in vietnamita To the kind doctors and nurses of the orthopedic surgery ward of VINMEC International Hospital I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the orthopedic surgery doctors, Dr. Hô Ngoc Minh, who with great skill and professionalism performed two complex and challenging surgeries. I also thank the nurses of the orthopedic surgery ward, particularly Ngô Thi Phuong, for their attentive and competent care. In particular, I would like to thank Nurse Tran Thi Thu Hong, who stood out for her exceptional professional competence and ability to understand my needs as a patient. Her attentive observation and ability to communicate effectively with the doctors contributed significantly to my recovery. Additionally, her knowledge of the English language greatly facilitated communication between me and the medical staff, allowing me to better understand my situation and express my needs. Her calm and reassuring presence alleviated my anxiety and discomfort, making me feel less alone and more at ease in a difficult moment. Best regards, Renato Astarita

Good experience. Nurse Nguyen Thu Uyen service was exceptional. She treated us very well. And had fluent english. As tourists we were very relaxed dealing with her explaining everything clearly.

I received excellent caring and well thought out treatment for a serious blood and bone marrow infection at Vinmec International Hospital. The care was excellent and the hospital was room was very comfortable. The nurses were all very knowledgeable, capable and considerate. The care I received from Dr. Nhi (Nguyễn Thị Hồng Nhi, MD.) was exceptional. She provided an intelligent, well thought out program of treatment and carefully answered all my questions, as well as being very responsive to the requests of the insurance company. She also provided extensive information to help the doctors design appropriate treatment when I was repatriated to Canada. In addition, her English is excellent, which was also very helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend her if you find yourself needing medical treatment in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Very nice and modern hospital. I'd say it's one of the best in Hanoi. It is very clean and most staff members are friendly and speak English to a certain degree. If you have to see a doctor whose English is limited, you can request an interpreter for free. There are plenty of lifts and parking for motorbikes. If you arrive with a car taxi, then they can drive through and leave you by the door. Please remember to claim your Vin ID points when you pay, although some people who claim insurance don't get Vin ID points because of some policies. I can say customer service is excellent since they dealt with all my queries and issues very effectively, and nothing was too much for them. The medical staff are extremely attentive and cordial. Just a very few don't smile and even ignore customers and patients, but just very few. There is a pharmacy and a restaurant/cafe so you can eat there. There is also a back entrance for emergencies. It is less busy than the main entrance so you use this if you need more space or take longer time.

I wouldn't call this hospital completely useless but I was looking for much better service and results for the price they charged. The hospital indeed looks very nice and clean but the top thing people look for in a hospital is whether their medical condition will be cured and this is not what I have experienced. I reach this conclusion after coming here on a number of occasions for myself and family. Two occasions that they have failed completely are: 1. My son had an ingrown toenail. First time they removed the ingrown bit but it came back. Second time they guaranteed that the base of the nail was removed but it was not. I took my son to another hospital and it was resolved professionally and it hasn't caused further trouble since then. 2. I experienced vertigo and came here for checkup. They gave me medicine but I still had vertigo after 3 weeks taking them. I googled based on my symptoms and suspected it was BPPV. I called Vinmec to update my situation and asked them about whether BPPV could be the case, they completely ignored this and advised me to take more medicine. I came to Tam Anh hospital to test and they confirmed this was indeed the case. After a few sessions in Tam Anh, my vertigo went away.

Don’t waste your time. I booked an appointment with a specific gynecologist because I wanted to see that doctor. Her name was clearly shown in my booking confirmation (as shown in the screenshot). After making the appointment online, the hospital called me to confirm it and asked me to choose a time. I selected the time, and everything seemed confirmed. A week later, I traveled all the way from Da Lat to this hospital specifically to see that doctor. It took me an entire day of traveling and cost me a lot of money. When I arrived at the reception desk, I was shocked to find out that they had scheduled me with a completely different doctor. Nobody informed me during the confirmation call that my doctor had been changed. In fact, the doctor I had booked was on vacation. Why advertise appointments with a specific doctor if you simply replace them without telling the patient? This level of disorganization is incredibly disappointing. They wasted my time, my money, and my trust.

My child and I had a horrible experience in the dental dept. The first dentist became physically agressive when she was reviewing a photo on my phone of an x ray taken elsewhere in hanoi. The xray was flipped so the right and left sides are on the actual right and left sides of the picture. When viewing xrays that aren't flipped, the right side of the mouth is on the left side of the image. The 1st dentist became hostile, refusing to see the words on the top of the photo are backwards, she just got mad instead.Furthermore my child has only one tooth missing in her mouth seen clearly on the xray.Instead of acknowledging her mistake she decided to get hostile, tried to force my phone from my hand angrily saying im wrong. Both dentists failed to read the X-ray.The 1st dentist poked my childs sore, infected area w/a sharp exam instrument as a result of getting mad about the X-ray,so my child felt more pain. The infection/pain/discoloration/displacement is caused by the retained root, root position,&nerve damage. The 1st dentist@vinmec&all dentists she's seen dismissed all symptoms&dismissed the new tooth placement. My concern for my child is medical based, not feelings based.I gave extensive history&timeline specifically to aid in specific current situation/assess the internal damage properly,&to avoid dismissive opinions about 'possible standard causes'. This is complex. The student had ok chairside manner, yet her notes are not honest. She said she will prescribe antibiotics/medication for the INFECTION. She never said 'gingivitis' to me.Her mentor maybe didnt allow her to fix it. 🚩 She said she would print the xrays for us,the image in the photo is all she presented. We asked for a hard copy, she said no. The medical records are inaccurate. The prescription matches what the dentist told me, it is for infection. This is a serious breech of medical records keeping and a serious violation of government laws and regulations.More importantly, adequate & complete records/history are needed to determine current condition and asses further treatment.Unfortunately I'm seeing dismissive attitudes towards symptoms a lot here.If you prefer to be treated properly dont go to this clinic,or the 2 before this one. Included w/health history was intent to study in Vietnam, said ONLY to give a timeline to aide w/the full picture and plan for full treatment here. 1st-we visited a private clinic- large root fragment removed. No paperwork given.Symptoms brushed off, ignored my emails,I was forced to go in person to demand a basic summary/images.Angry dentist agreed after I was filming.situation=Tense/yelling/wait 4 hours/cry🤢 2nd-public hospital-2 dentists claimed patient record books arent given to foreigners, pediatrics unit in the same hospital gave me one,but claimed localized redness/swelling were from an adult tooth seen erupting, dentist asked to see my teeth to decide the cause of my daughter's symptoms.🤕3rd-vinmec.☠Do you think I want to have to deal w/arguing for bare minimum care that should be given to everyone? No i dont. Here in Vietnam, ppl with nonconforming appearances children get poor medical treatment/analysis.Its 2026.We are international travelers. It should be common sense that presence of tattoos does not equal negative qualities/habits or lack of education. No presence of tattoos does NOT equal no negative qualities/habits or a presence of education. If the negative/biased judgements toward me that directly affect my childs care were true we wouldnt be world travelers.Be logical.Looking at the PATIENT,not parents appearance,is necessary for treatment.😆If you dont look socially conforming here, your child's health is at risk.Even when visiting this"international"hospital.Dentists dont want to agree w/medical facts due to opinions of my looks&if thats not why,idk whats worse. When you treat mothers poorly, you treat the child poorly.I had to explain my values for my childs logical series of medical history/current symptoms to be slightly assessed. It never should have escalated to all of this in the first place. What a nightmare.
