One of the nice things about this place is sitting on the big sofa right next to the floor-to-ceiling bookshelf, having a flat white or a latte, and just reading. It feels peaceful and relaxing. Their list of specialty beans is excellent, and the baristas are skilled, consistent, and friendly. The book selection is also a plus, with plenty of interesting reads on coffee and design. Visiting early in the morning or late in the afternoon is highly recommended; when it’s quiet, the vibe is just perfect.

The atmosphere here is very quiet and cosy, they have 2 floors. Was recommended by my airbnb host and indeed the coffee was amazing! Didnt bring my computer this time but it seems a good place to work from if you need to focus, concentrate, study or read Staff is nice and accommodating

The best flat white I had in Vietnam and served the proper size and mug. Silken milk perfectly extracted beans. The latte was also made well. The croissant was nice and buttery enjoyed in a well lit natural light ambience thanks to the big windows to people watch and escape the heat

Don't miss the entry on the side of the building! One of the best places for coffee in Hanoi, knowledgeable and helpful staff can help you decide on the drinks you want. They have a great selection of beans that can be prepared in numerous ways, including rare liberica beans from Vietnam, and also other varieties. The coffee was prepared nicely, their selection of a specialty + coffee gets you a cup with dual sensory options (to increase flavour intensity and a mouthfeel side). The staff are very friendly and re-fill your water for you constantly so you're well looked after. The AC is strong, there's plenty of sockets to work from and decent WiFi, and seating upstairs/downstairs. Easily in the top 3 cafes in Hanoi. We kept coming back. Plus their Teas were nice too. Also the toilet was clean and offered free feminine hygiene products if you needed them which is very good.

I would say this is a reliable café for local customers, coffee lovers and especially for specialty coffees drinkers all around the world. Acid8 offers a wide range of high quality beans from Vietnam and other parts of the world. You can ask the staff for the beans of your liking (preference in taste). Give it a try when you visit Hanoi, it is a must.

Really cool specialty coffee store tucked away in the street corner. The Vietnamese coffee was bold and strong just the way it should be. The interior design has strong influence of Japanese architecture yet it uniquely its own style.

What a beautiful coffee shop and the coffee is sublime (probably the best latte I've had in Hanoi in a while). Service is so warm and sweet (thank you for helping me charge my laptop for so long). I love the books they have on the shelf too. Great way to spend a quiet afternoon .I'll definitely be back

Excellent drinks, excellent service, peak atmosphere watching the street through ceiling-to-floor windows. This cafe saved me during a hot day. One of the most nourishing tea drinks I ever had. Will go back here when I find myself in Hanoi again.
