A small coffee shop with a really warm and cozy atmosphere. The barista was super friendly and welcoming. The coffee was excellent, we tried the V60 Son La Muot and the hot cà phê trứng. The V60 was very smooth and a clean finish. The beans were medium roasted. The hot egg coffee was thick, creamy, and rich, made with fresh egg yolk. The texture was silky and foamy, almost like a dessert, but still balanced with the strong coffee flavor.

We ended up coming back to Hebeca Roastery two days in a row - and that probably says it all. Over our visits, we tried quite a range: coffee latte with oat milk, oolong pomelo, Sonla (Hebeca’s special), matcha latte with oat milk, americano, black tea “Autumn’s Symphony,” pink guava cascara, orange cascara, and two croissants (butter and ham & cheese). Every single drink impressed us - not just in taste, but also in aroma. You can really tell there’s deep knowledge and passion behind what they do. The owner’s understanding of coffee and tea truly reflects in every cup - everything feels intentional, well-balanced, and thoughtfully crafted rather than just standard menu items. One detail that stood out was how the matcha was prepared - using cold water instead of hot. It brought out a smoother, more delicate profile with less bitterness, making the experience feel even more refined and unique. My husband’s favorite was the coffee latte with oat milk — smooth, rich, and comforting. As for me, I absolutely loved the orange cascara — refreshing, lightly citrusy, and something a bit different from the usual café offerings. The croissants were also a highlight - made with French butter, giving them that rich aroma and beautifully flaky texture. Perfect pairing with the drinks. If you’re a café hopper or someone who enjoys exploring unique flavors beyond the usual coffee menu, Hebeca Roastery is definitely worth a visit (or two 😉).

This café roasts its own beans, and their Son La honey-process coffee was beautifully done. Both the medium roast Americano and the light roast hand drip were excellent clean, well-balanced, and full of character. The barista’s craft was precise and thoughtful, with every detail handled flawlessly. My friends also tried the Vietnamese-style coffee, which was equally enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates carefully crafted coffee. This is definitely a place worth visit

Insanely delicious coffee and lovely owner. We came in the morning, had 2 rounds of coffee. Came back in the afternoon and tried their mangosteen hibiscus tea and pink guava tea. Best tea I’ve had anywhere and I drink A LOT of tea. So refreshing. Will come back again and try everything on their menu. Came back again in the evening. Had the Yuzu Pomelo tea, Mulberry Oolong tea and the Mulberry yogurt. Did not disappoint.

Was going to show you how the drinks looked but my wife drank it all before I could take the photos 😠 I guess she couldn't resist. But in all seriousness. Best coffee I've had in a long time, and I'm from Melbourne so that's saying something. If you want the true hanoi coffee experience, and to see it properly created live right in front of you, come here. We are currently ordering the whole menu lol. Van is very friendly and is happy to show and explain how to make her whole menu, like a chefs table. Incredible.

A fantastic little coffee shop off the main road, very chilled and laid back but high class, clean, and very welcoming. Friendly staff will talk you through the local delicacies and if you’ve any brains at all you’ll have the Egg Coffee! They serve the absolute best in Hanoi - probably in Vietnam, really - so start your day the right way and come here for a morning treat! It’s a great way to set yourself up for a day’s exploring!

Delicious coffee, cute little location which was immaculately presented and modern. If you’re tall, mind your head when going upstairs as you might bump it ahaha (the staff will warn you)! The staff were absolutely wonderful and knowledgeable. Came here two days in a row and would have come here more if we were an Hanoi longer. Treated ourselves to egg coffee as well - the staff were kind enough to explain how to consume it the right way. If I’m back in Hanoi, I’ll stay closer to here and get in my morning coffee here every day :)

10/10 experience. Would definitely repeat my visit if I could. Perfect coffee, perfect service, perfect everything. The shop keeper was brewing and making all the coffee herself and explaining the types of beans used & how the coffee was made.
