Rented a private room for 3 nights. It was comfy and clean. The shower in our room was not level, so the water tends to pool up and leak towards the second drain by the toilet, but it wasn't too much of an issue honestly, and the shower floor is heated so that was nice. It is very loud due to beer street and the rooftop bar, but we didn't really have a hard time falling asleep, since we spent so much time walking around. Its definitely more of a party scene, so if you are more into that, this is a good place to go. The staff are super nice, many are foreign volunteers also traveling so it was nice having more fluent English speakers when checking in.

The rooms and bed were tiny but what really made me love this place are the attendants. They were so helpful throughout my stay. Shout-out to Son! Thank you for your hospitality. 🙏🏻

It's a decent hostel. However the bed sheets had some stains and also the price in the Hostelworld app is not the actually price you have to pay. They charge you extra 10%. So be aware of that. The one Hostel is way better and cleaner. Definitely go there instead. Just make sure to book in advance because they are quite often fully booked, why I couldn't extend there and had to search for an alternative.

Positive reviews for free drinks. Rooms are nasty, cramped and damp. They charge for towels and water. 5% for card payments. Saw rats downstairs, I wonder if they stay for free? Nice big gaps on the bathroom door sides and beds so people can see right in. Go somewhere else.

What a shocking stay. We checked in and were immediately put into an unbelievably cramped room—eight of us with virtually no space for our belongings. Upon arrival, we discovered the bathroom was leaking and reported it straight away. Unfortunately, the response from reception was completely inadequate. Their “solution” was to remove part of the ceiling and leave us overnight with two planks of wood directing water into the sink to prevent flooding—something we had already walked into. Despite repeatedly informing reception that the bathroom floor was soaked and the towels were unusable (completely drenched), no effort was made to replace them. Eight people sharing a room with a non-functional bathroom is simply unacceptable. By morning, the situation had worsened, with even more water and an unbearable smell that forced us out of the room for the day. That evening, things took another turn. When I got into bed, I noticed a stain—upon turning on the light, it was clearly blood. The next morning, when I raised this along with the ongoing bathroom issue, I was shockingly accused of it being my own blood and dismissed as if I was making excuses for clean bedding. The accusation was outrageous and completely unprofessional. I have never experienced such appalling customer service, especially after over three months of travelling. Although the bathroom was eventually fixed and sheets changed, any hope of improvement was short-lived. At 8am, we were abruptly woken by loud construction directly beneath our room. After asking FOUR times for the noise to stop, we were ignored. At that point, we had had enough and checked out immediately. The room itself was filthy—dust everywhere and visible mould. Upon checkout, we received no apology, only a token 10% discount for all eight of us. Completely insulting given the circumstances. To make matters worse, we witnessed other guests being treated with warmth and politeness, while we were consistently met with dismissiveness and poor attitude. Eight guests, eight beds, eight paying customers—and this is how we were treated. Absolutely unacceptable. I would not recommend this place to anyone. After working in a hostel myself for 5 months I understand these situations are bound to happen but at least we understand what customer service was.

I strongly advise everyone not to book this hostel! This was by far the worst hostel experience I have ever had. The 6-bed dorm was extremely small and dirty. The bathroom in particular was not clean at all, and the door couldn’t even be properly closed. We booked a Ha Giang Loop tour through the hostel, which included the bus rides and one night of accommodation in Hanoi after returning from the tour. However, when we came back from the tour at around 1 AM, we were told that there were no beds available at all and that the night which was part of our booking would simply be cancelled. There were 13 people in our group, and every single one of us was left without a bed. What makes this even worse is that nobody informed us beforehand. We only found out after arriving in the middle of the night, when it was already too late and almost impossible to find another hostel with available beds. On top of that, the staff member on duty blamed us for the situation and showed absolutely no understanding or willingness to help. I strongly advise everyone not to book this hostel. They clearly cannot be trusted to honor their bookings, and the way they treat guests when problems occur is completely unacceptable.
