Excellent stay — highly recommended for backpackers! I had a really great experience staying here and would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Hanoi. One thing I loved was the location — it’s right on a main road, so catching a taxi or GrabBike was extremely easy and convenient. If you're sensitive to noise, you may hear a little traffic sound at times, but for me the convenience was absolutely worth it. The shared facilities were much better than expected. Each floor has a common bathroom area with 4 shower rooms and 4 toilets, so there was always enough space. I never had to wait, even during busy hours, which made daily routines super comfortable. The sleeping area was another highlight. The wooden bunk beds are solid, spacious, and very well built — not like typical cheap student-style bunks. Everything feels sturdy and thoughtfully designed. The mattress was comfortable, and I really appreciated having a small personal fan inside each bed compartment. Also, the locker at the foot of the bed is surprisingly large, making it easy to store luggage and personal belongings securely. Another detail that made the stay easier: there is a dedicated luggage room on the ground floor, which is really convenient before check-in or after check-out. Overall, this hostel offers excellent comfort, convenience, and thoughtful facilities for the price. I’d happily stay here again and hope more travelers discover this place! 👏

For under £3 each a night (if you’re a couple) you can’t go wrong really. The beds are clean and comfy, with a fan and electricity. Aircon unit in each room. The showers and toilets are clean, but most of the shower head holders are broken so you may need to just hold it. I asked them to check this previously but still not fixed after visiting 3 times. Location is also a close walk from a bunch of good cafes and the old quarter.

Incredible location, very central. Not very sociable although we didn’t arrive until late in the evening. Rooms were clean enough and great value (we paid less than £6 total for a double bed for 2 people for one night). Provided locked luggage storage under the bed and towels free of charge. The staff waited up for us to check in despite our late flight arriving at 2am.

Given the cheap price and comfy bunk bed, I give it 4 stars. Things I like: not far away from bus stop to take bus to and from airport, right at the old quarter, bed clean in outlook, complete privacy, easy charging, small fan for an initial heat after walking and during their AC off time (not sure why they need it but 2 hours off AC wil not harm no one), toilets and sinks are clean and have quite a lot; staffs are friendly and yes, they have free bath towel and 1 small bottle of water as welcome. What I don't like: weak shower, especially when there're more than 1 person taking; no slippers, it's dirt and super inconvenient for those who just have shoes; noisy room mates (though I understand that cheap Asian countries mostly attract young backpackers and Vietnamese staffs are often incapable of telling customers to follow regulations); no lifts (your bed can be on 4th floor). I didn't book for any other services so can't tell, this is just for the accomodation

The staff is very professional, friendly, kind and always ready to welcome travelers with a smile and cheerfulness. Fantastic. The location is very central, in the heart of the old quarter. The bathrooms are spacious and clean, with plenty of showers and toilets. The pods are excellent for sleeping, although my pillow was too high and hard. The only REALLY annoying thing is the traffic noise from the street. My room was on the first floor facing a busy road with deafening noise, making it impossible to sleep. Bus horns, scooters, cars, loud engines... unfortunately, it was truly impossible to sleep.

Very basic, but for the price, it is a good deal. I was on the 4th floor. It felt very clean when I used the bathroom, which was important to me. Most of the time the toilets were spotless. And, I always saw the nice staff around cleaning. They cleaned multiple times a day. I found there was enough space, and I always was able to access toilet or shower if needed. There was even a little communal space in the ground floor. Good for a short stint in Hanoi.

One of the worst customer services we have had in more than 6 months in Asia. Upon arrival, the receptionist assigned us two upper beds, despite us arriving at 6:00 AM and having booked weeks in advance. Politely, using both English and a translator, we asked to change to bottom beds, as we noticed upon entering the room that out of the 6 beds, only the two of us had checked in, and we asked if we could be near each other since we are a couple. Her response? "Impossible! We are fully booked! The system does not allow changes." Repeatedly. We innocently thought it was a system problem. Since we had a second consecutive reservation, we managed to get her to agree to change us for the second booking. When the day arrived, she moved us to another room, much worse, with bottom beds but separated. We complained to stay in the same room, negotiating for just one bottom bed since it seemed "impossible" to have both, even though it was 9:00 AM and almost all the beds had been vacated by guests! At first, once again "impossible," but after insisting, she agreed to only one bottom bed. When asking to change the top bed because it was right next to the door—which rattled and practically didn't let me sleep for two nights—again: NO, IMPOSSIBLE. After having to ask her several times, she reluctantly agreed and did both changes in ONE minute. Was it THAT difficult? And also, clearly it was NOT a system issue in the end, which was very dissapointing. The beds are comfortable, but if you have a bed in room 3A next to the door, the door mechanism does not cushion the impact and the door makes the entire wall next to your head in the cubicle rattle VERY loudly. They should have a way to muffle the door noise. A LOT of street noise comes in through the balcony door. If you are a light sleeper, better look for another option. The cleaning staff makes a great effort to keep everything clean, as it is a hostel where they don't give you "slippers"; therefore, all the dirt from the street comes in with your shoes, and when stepping on the wet bathroom floor from the shower, it gets spread everywhere. They give you clean towels every day, which is an interesting plus.In the end, it was a mixed experience, with a very dissapointing aftertaste because of the receptionist treatment. If you are looking for cheap facilities for a short stay, it is good. If you have problem with noise, be careful of room 3A. Location and neighborhood is nice.
