Gem of a place, really friendly helpful staff. Lovely clean rooms with a soft mattress. Buffet breakfast superb, free beer! And a great location all at a very good price 🥰

Loved this hostel! Super chill vibe but still easy to meet people up on the rooftop. The staff were really friendly, and the location is perfect -right in the center but still quiet enough to sleep well in the dorms. Had such a great time in Hanoi! 🤩

Absolutely loved this hostel!!! Swan and her team were so friendly and helpful in any situation. The location is central but its super quiet in the dorms so you can get a peaceful nights sleep. The hostel itself was modern and clean, comfy beds and hot showers with good water pressure!!! There was also free breakfast included which was so yummy. Met some amazing people here and was the best start to my Vietnam trip. Will return here if i go back to Hanoi :) thanks swan and team!!!

It was the best decision to choose wonderlust hostel. Spent 3 nights in this hostel. Really, really good staff, nice breakfast from 7-10. They serve global common foods so people around the globe can start their day with a familiar taste. The location is also good. Everything is within walking distance but not inside the chaos of old town. They can arrange transfers to any place in Vietnam. I booked my Ninh Binh ticket from them. The bus arrived before time. Very good service. Very satisfied with Wanderlust Hostel. Thank you, staff.

This is probably the best hostel I’ve stayed in over a combined year of traveling SEA! The staff are amazing - they are all so kind and incredibly helpful and you can tell they enjoy getting to know the guests and making it an awesome place to stay! Special shoutout to Swan who is just an absolute gem <3 the location is perfect - right on the edge of Old Quarter. It’s far away enough from the craziness that you can get a good nights sleep but a lot of the popular tourist spots are super nearby - and other areas of Hanoi are walkable! Their free breakfast is also amazing, I’ve had so many hostel breakfasts that are just toast and bananas but they really go all out and it runs from 7-10am so you can still catch it even if you sleep in! The crowd here is super social but not too crazy, I don’t drink but still went to the rooftop bar for the half hour of free beers from 7:30-8pm almost every night just to chill and hang out with everyone - and they have N/A beverages available for super cheap! Met some awesome people here from all over the world! The rooms are insanely clean and the bathrooms are cleaned every day. The beds are super comfy and have shelves, curtains, personal lights, and outlets that actually work! I can’t recommend this place enough! The price is crazy for what you get too - I will definitely be coming back next time I am in Hanoi! Thank you to all the amazing staff ❤️❤️❤️

Had an amazing stay at Hanoi Wanderlust Hostel & Travel! The hostel has a super friendly and social atmosphere, making it easy to meet travelers from all around the world. The staff were incredibly helpful, always ready to assist with tours, transport, and great local recommendations around Hanoi. The rooms and common areas were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with a nice balance between fun and relaxation. The location is excellent, close to the Old Quarter, great food spots, nightlife, and major attractions. What really stood out was the hospitality and the overall vibe of the place. Whether you are traveling solo or with friends, this hostel makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Hanoi!

The hostel was decent, but I arrived early before the check-in time, so they wouldn't let me check in (unlike another hostel I visited that did allow early check-in). The locker didn't function properly (even though the technician came and fixed it), but it still wouldn't open, and when I tried to open the locker door, it made a noise that disturbed others in the room. I had to ask them three times to send someone to clean my bed, as it wasn't cleaned properly during check-in. The only positive aspect was that the kitchen staff were very accommodating, providing me with breakfast and arranging takeout for two days since I had to leave before 6 AM.
