Not sure where these photos were taken, definitely not at this hostel! Hate to do this but our experience was poor here. We didn't even stay for one of the three nights we booked. Let's just say the room is dirty and poorly maintained, with a touch of bed bugs. When we asked the reception they didn't seem to care at all. The guy at reception was friendly but due to the experience in the hostel and the fact that he didn't care about our issues we raised, this place gets a 1 out of 5. Again, sucks to say that on a public forum but hopefully this will shock them into some action.

I spent 5 months travelling Asia and this was by far the worst experience. My friend and I needed to book a private room each for 1 month and we were delighted when management said that they had availability and even promised us a small reduction for staying for this extended period. 2 men working at reception confirmed this. ||||After 6 days, the same staff on reception asked us to pay for the period we had stayed, which was absolutely fine! However once we paid for the 6 days, they then started to mention checking out. We were extremely confused. The 2 men on reception blatantly lied to us about the availability and worse again accused us of lying about the fact that we had booked for 1 month and were beyond rude and arrogant when explaining this. We had to pack our bags as guests were checking in the next day. ||||Terrible terrible customer experience.. on top of this the place smells so bad, very poor air con system, weak wifi signal, toilet seat broken, hand held shower head coming from the bathroom sink and extremely loud, every little bit of sound travels. It was a blessing in disguise to have to leave after 6 days.||||Do not stay here!

If your looking for a quick stop over this place is ok. It's cheap, very central. We had air con what works fine and the room was fairly big. ||However the bed covers had old mould stains on them, and the place needs a very good revamp it is falling to bits but in general they clean the rooms. If you are going to be spending more time here I would go somewhere else and maybe spend a bit more money but we found it was alright for a stop over. |||We booked our tickets for ha long bay here and also got our laundry done nice and cheap and had no problems. The staff were very helpful and seemed very polite, we had no problems really. You get what u pay for specially for Hanoi it's not the same as the rest of Vietnam.

I WILL NEVER EVER STAY IN THIS HOSTEL EVEN FOR FREE!!! The big guy receptionist was very very rude. First he told me that my booking is doesn't exist. After I showed the proof of my booking, he unpolitely gave us the key. When we saw the room, it was really horrible and smell very bad. Also the room was for single though I was write my preference for double bed because I'm going with my husband. When we complained to the reception he told us that the room was the only one left, and if we won't take it we can go and ask for refund to Traveloka. Of course we were very disapointed then left the hotel. After that I sent an email to Traveloka to complain about the booking but Traveloka told me that the hostel party said he had given us double room as the request and they couldn't give us the refund.

This was definitely the worst hostel experience I have ever had in my life. Booked a private room way in advance because I had a late flight and would be arriving in Hanoi in the early hours of the morning. They claim a 24 hour front desk but when I arrived I had to bang on the door for about ten minutes before someone came to open. I got taken to my "private room", which was actually a dorm room with four empty beds. I say "room" but I actually mean cesspit. Filthy. Dead cockroaches, un-flushed toilet which looked it had been cleaned, uhh, never. Huge hair balls in the grimy sink. As I was exhausted I thought I would make the best of a bad situation and just wash up and go to bed. No water coming out the taps. Went back to the desk, had to wake the woman again. I was told I must use the toilet outside. So after I gave her a piece of my mind I left. Had to traipse the streets of Hanoi at 3:30am looking for a room. And to top it all booking.com has charged me for the room as a no-show. What a joke.

The staff is very friendly and helpful but:||The room was damp and moly, that's probably why it didn't smell nice. We had small red bugs and slightly bigger black bugs in our beds and not just 3 or 4... |when we told the staff he didn't even bother looking, he must have known about that and we wish we would have read the reviews before we checked in!

We were in this room for 5 hours resting and we were attacked by bed bugs, when we tell the guy we cannot stay here cause your place was infested, he started laughing and charged us half price for the room even though we didn't stay here for the night. Our bodies were full of bites, and we actually killed and saw about 7 bed bugs just chilling in the room. Besides that the bathroom is awkward, the place is not maintained at all and the beds are harder than a concrete floor. ||Do yourself a favour and don't stay here unless you want to be bitten like crazy.
