  the location is absolutely perfect, in the middle of old town, close to the lake. everything is within walking distance and there’re amazing food places just around the corner too. the staff was simply lovely, they helped us multiple times and were also very helpful with trip bookings and general information, plus all of them spoke english really well. the rooms were rather on the smaller side but to be honest it was so cozy we had no issue on that regard. it’s also super clean and the beds were amazing. we didn’t really see people socialise inside, but we still managed to talk to a lot of people and meet a bunch of new faces.

  Absolutely amazing hostel. The location is great. The staff are all super cool, friendly and helpful with local knowledge and recommendations, making my first time to Vietnam a breeze. The hostel itself has a really chill, happy vibe with comfortable rooms and cool spaces to hang and relax. Not a 'party' hostel - which is perfect for what I wanted. Has everything you need. Highly recommend checkibg it out for your stay.

  We had an amazing time here! Our bartender, Duc Anh, was fantastic and treated us extremely well (very social, stayed after hours at the hostel bar to serve us, kind guy), I’d stay here again just for his energy! The rooms were great and had splendid common areas. Definitely would recommend staying here!

  The reception staff is extremely competent, friendly, and welcoming, and they speak English very well. They really helped make my stay enjoyable by giving great recommendations and answering all my questions about local street food. The housekeeping team is just as respectful and warm. Refilling a 1.5L water bottle for only 10k is super convenient. I had hot water provided every morning (upon request at reception). The bedding is comfortable. The air conditioning shutdown between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM wasn't an issue at all—the dorm stays cool, and there is a fan. The lockable storage locker under the bed is very spacious (bed G/303). There is no street noise since this dorm is located at the end of the hallway. There is a bathroom/toilet outside right next to the dorm, plus an extra toilet and 3 female-only showers in the corridor. You can eat your own breakfast (bought outside) at the ground-floor bar tables. The common room on the 2nd floor is nice and large. I really loved the street art-style murals, which give the hostel a unique character. The location is perfect. The hostel is clean overall, and the sanitary facilities are cleaned regularly. Good Laundry Service 24h/40.000vnd per Kg (July 2026) A big thanks to the team of Nexy Hostel.

  Location and service were great! My friend and I had a private room with a private bathroom. Good minimalistic clean room for what you need to explore the town! Great location near the Berr street night markets. Staff was wonderful and great at communication! They helped plan airport transport and transport to and from Ninh Binh. Always felt safe and secure in the area. I highly recommend this Hostel

  I stayed at Nexy Hostel and overall had a good experience. The room was very small, but it was clean. The bed was comfortable and I really appreciated having a proper blanket. The bathroom was also spacious and the cleanliness was okay overall. Downstairs there is a nice common area where you can relax and meet other travelers, which created a friendly atmosphere. The location is definitely one of the best parts — really convenient and perfect for exploring the area. I would recommend this hostel, especially if you are looking for a good location and a social vibe!

  The service, cleanliness, and staff demeanor were commendable. While communication challenges were noted for a visiting guest, these were deemed acceptable upon clarification.I plan to reserve a mixed accommodation during my next visit, having opted for a private room on this occasion.

  We didn’t actually book anything at the hostel. We arrived 3 am in Hanoi from Ha Giang, where we were dropped off in front of the hostel. Our travel agent forgot to book us a room and we were taking a bus the next morning. The staff let us stay in the chill out room on 2nd floor for the remainder of the night, and was very sweet helping to find a place to get some breakfast in the morning. Overall very nice place.
