Wonderful & Amazing. Not only can you just chill out and enjoy a good coffee, or the best food... but the best staff to chat to and get the golden local guides. I Spoke to Hang and she guided me through to the best spots to visit in Hanoi, things that Tourists don't even know about, but only the locals. This is my 2nd time in Hanoi in 2 weeks and 2nd time back to this amazing Hostel. Definitely recommending to everyone. Also book your Place by the Swimming Pool and go for a dive. Have a look on their Instagram for all the fun things.

I had an incredible stay at The One Hostel in Hanoi and genuinely can’t recommend it enough. The hostel has an amazing social atmosphere, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and it’s the perfect place to meet people from all over the world. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel at home. I especially want to give a huge thank you to Bao. My checked luggage was lost by the airline, and he went so far beyond what anyone would expect. He spent his own time helping me contact the airline, translating conversations, following up on my bag, and making sure I understood everything that was happening. He was patient, kind, and genuinely cared about helping me, which made a stressful situation so much easier. Employees like Bao are hard to find, and he’s a massive credit to The One Hostel. I also have to thank Amari, who helped me organise the next part of my trip. He took the time to explain everything about Ninh Bình and the Hà Giang Loop, answered all my questions, and made booking everything completely stress-free. His local knowledge and honest advice gave me the confidence that I’d chosen the best options, and he made the whole planning process incredibly easy. The people working here are what really make this hostel special. Bao and Amari both went above and beyond to help me, not because they had to, but because they genuinely care about their guests having the best possible experience. If you’re coming to Hanoi, stay at The One Hostel. Amazing atmosphere, fantastic facilities, and some of the friendliest, most helpful staff I’ve ever met. I’ll definitely be back.

Amazing location, great aircon, really yum brekkie, clean pool, happy hour deals - what more could you want in a hostel. The travel section especially was over the top helpful. Amari organized for me and some mates to do the cao bang loop and EVERYTHING from bag transportation to adding people in to our transportation and accommodations taken care of without us having a worry in the world. Amari really made sure our stay here was special and him and Simon just went above and beyond to make this a fun place to stay!

Amazing experience at The One! The place is stunning, well-maintained, and perfectly located. A big shoutout to Valentino for being a great host, but honestly the entire stay exceeded our expectations. Clean, comfortable, and hassle-free from start to finish. Highly recommend.

This was my first hostel ever, and I honestly don’t think I could have chosen a better one. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed. Everything was amazing, the food, the service, the pub crawls, the cooking class, the daily activities, and especially the social atmosphere. It was so easy to meet people from all over the world, and the hostel truly felt like one big family. The hostel was also incredibly clean. The housekeeping staff were constantly workin. I saw them cleaning throughout the day, probably four times a da and everything was always spotless. The laundry service was also excellent: fast, affordable, and my clothes came back fresh and neatly folded. A huge thank you to Laura at reception, Duc Anh, Huy and the entire bar team, Sunde, Sony from the travel desk, Millie, Chloe, Elina and reception manager, and all the volunteers. Every single one of you made my stay so much better with your kindness, energy, and genuine care for the guests. Every time I travelled to another city and came back to Hanoi, returning to The One felt like coming home. That’s a feeling I’ve never experienced while travelling before. For my last few days in Hanoi, I stayed at another hotel, and I regretted it almost immediately. Even though I wasn’t staying at The One anymore, I still came back every single day because I missed the atmosphere so much. The staff still welcomed me back and even let me join the activities, which says everything about how warm and inclusive this place is. This wasn’t just a place to sleep, it became one of the highlights of my entire Vietnam trip. If you’re thinking about staying here, don’t hesitate for a second. I promise you won’t regret it. Thank you to everyone at The One for giving me memories and friendships I’ll never forget. I’ll definitely be back one day. ❤️

This is honestly my favorite hostel in North Vietnam. Every time I came back to Hanoi after trips like the Ha Giang Loop or Ha Long Bay, I always returned here, it just feels like coming home. The staff are incredibly friendly, the rooms are modern, lockers are big enough, the beds are comfortable, and there are privacy curtains which is always a big plus. There’s a rooftop pool, a rooftop bar, and almost always a happy hour going on. There are so many social areas, and by the pool you can just chill in bean bags, perfect vibe. I’ve never had a bad experience here, and I’ve met so many amazing people that I kept running into again during my travels. After my 5th stay in 3 months, it’s finally time to say goodbye… thank you for all the great memories ❤️

We stayed at The One Hostel Hanoi and overall had a really fun experience, especially if you’re looking for a social hostel in Hanoi. The best thing about this place is definitely the atmosphere. It’s super easy to meet people thanks to all the events like pub crawls and social nights. The staff are very friendly especially Simon we loved him and helpful, and they really create a welcoming vibe. Many guests mention how the team goes above and beyond to help with trips and make everyone feel included. The location is also perfect, right in the Old Quarter, so you can walk everywhere and explore Hanoi easily. The rooms were generally comfortable and clean, and we liked the beds and air conditioning. Bathrooms were okay and cleaned regularly, although not always perfect. Keli & Victoria the Swiss girls.

Loved staying at this hostel! Location is very convenient and is a walking distance from most attractions. It’s a very sociable hostel with an activity on every night. Ended up doing trivia night and the pub crawl - our host Valentino was hilarious and full of good energy!! Would recommend
