From the moment we arrived, the reception team greeted us with genuine warmth and made the check-in process quick and smooth. We especially want to thank the staff for decorating the room and preparing a chocolate box along with a beautifully designed greeting card—such a lovely surprise that truly added to our experience. The room itself was spacious and spotlessly clean, with a wonderful view over the lake. The bathroom was also exceptionally spacious and well-equipped with all the needed amenities, and it was maintained to a very high cleanliness standard. Comfort was another highlight: the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, helping us rest well throughout the stay. Breakfast was excellent. The buffet offered a wide variety and a large selection of choices suitable for everyone. We’d also like to give a special thanks to Quin in the restaurant for her helpfulness and kindness, which made breakfast even more enjoyable. Overall, we had a great experience and would happily recommend Dolce by Wyndham Golden Lake Hanoi to other travelers.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Dolce by Wyndham, Hanoi! 🏨✨ The hospitality here is truly outstanding—a perfect 10/10. Every single staff member was warm, courteous, and always ready to help, which made us feel incredibly welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. 👋😊 The room was amazing, exceptionally spacious, and the modern amenities in the washroom were top-notch. 🛏️🚿 One of the absolute highlights of our trip was the stunning lake view from the property, especially when enjoyed from their incredible golden infinity swimming pool! 🌊🏊‍♂️ It offers a spectacular, relaxing atmosphere and is the perfect place to unwind after a day of sightseeing. 🌅 We also loved the breakfast spread every morning—absolutely amazing with plenty of delicious options to choose from! 🍳🥞🥐 Getting around the city was a breeze as well, since Grab taxis were easily available right from the hotel lobby. 🚖💨 Overall, a fantastic experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Hanoi! 🇻🇳🙌

Great experience here! The hotel is located in Ba Dinh district, near to central area, very convenient and can go everywhere. Room is clean, staff is nice and friendly, the service here is very good. Very helpful and sincere. Stay here for worktrip and it’s amazing.

A gold themed hotel, with walls and fittings covered in golden colour. Location is a letdown , any touristy place worth visiting need a cab ride.Facilities and Service were good befitting a five star hotel , though minute observations in room revealed housekeeping needs improvement. Front desk and restaurant staff were quite proficient in English. The breakfast buffet spread was quite lavish. We had booked 2 adjacent rooms which were interconnected. Automation in rooms were glitchy n needs some time to familiarize .The infinity pool on the top floor offers stunning view of the city.Except for novelty of stay in gold covered surrounding, nothing much to write about.

⭐ Extremely Disappointing – A Big No for Indian Travelers! If your travel agent is pitching this as a luxury 5-star stay, do not fall for it. The reality is incredibly frustrating and nowhere close to a 5-star standard. Pathetic Vegetarian Food: The most shocking part is that despite Indians making up nearly 80% of their guests, they haven't even bothered to hire an Indian chef. The vegetarian breakfast options are basically non-existent. Every single morning, we had to deal with plain white rice and a watery, completely flavorless vegetable gravy. They have zero understanding of Indian taste or dietary needs. Greedy & Stingy Service: The management is unbelievably greedy. They ration you to just 4 miniature water bottles per room. If you need even a drop more, get ready to pay ridiculous extra charges. They try to squeeze money out of you for every basic necessity. Unwelcoming Attitude & Hidden Fees: The hospitality is zero. We were unexpectedly hit with massive hidden security deposits and subjected to strict, unfair rules that felt highly disrespectful. We did not feel welcomed as guests at all. My sincere advice to all Indian tourists and travel companies is to completely cross this hotel off your list. Save your money and your peace of mind by booking somewhere else!

I had an amazing stay at Dolce by Wyndham Hanoi Golden Lake and it was truly one of the most unique hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, the service felt luxurious and welcoming. The complimentary macarons on arrival were a lovely touch and immediately set the tone for the stay. The hotel’s attention to detail and presentation really stood out throughout the entire experience. The room itself was incredibly spacious, modern, and comfortable, with stunning views across Hanoi. Large windows filled the room with natural light, and the overall atmosphere felt elegant and relaxing.Of course, the biggest highlight was the hotel’s signature gold-themed interior. The golden bath and even the gold toilet made the stay feel both extravagant and memorable , definitely something you don’t experience every day. Everything was beautifully designed and added to the hotel’s unique character.Another standout feature was the famous gold infinity pool. Swimming there while overlooking the city skyline was unforgettable. The rooftop atmosphere was calm and luxurious, making it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the views.Overall, Dolce by Wyndham Hanoi Golden Lake offers a truly distinctive luxury experience with spacious rooms, exceptional views, unique golden décor, and excellent hospitality. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hanoi and looking for something memorable and different.

We had such a wonderful stay here. The team went above and beyond to make our experience special, and it truly showed in every detail. ||They surprised my husband with a beautiful birthday setup, complete with a cake and a handwritten card. That gesture alone meant so much to us and made the trip even more memorable.||The room itself was incredible. We stayed in a beautiful suite that was both luxurious and comfortable. The bathtub had a stunning chrome finish, the toilet seat was heated and automatic, and the bed was unbelievably soft, the kind you just melt into after a long day.||Their buffet was extensive and thoughtfully curated, offering a wide variety of options to suit different tastes. They even had Indian dishes, a full dessert section, an omelet station, and freshly prepared pho made by chefs on the spot. One of the most unique highlights was the golden steak served at breakfast.||The lobby itself was absolutely exquisite, setting the tone for the entire experience. The location is also a big plus, right in front of a beautiful lake and within walking distance to really good cafes. While it’s a bit farther from the Old Quarter, the trade-off is a quieter, more relaxing environment. There are cafes nearby that you can visit as well as a few restauramts that will surely satisfy your Vietnamese food cravings.||Overall, it’s amazing value for money. Comfortable, thoughtful, and peaceful. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

The staff were wonderful, friendly, and always willing to help. I mentioned that we were visiting for our anniversary, and they kindly arranged complimentary room decoration, which was a very nice gesture. However, the hotel has no pool and very limited activities. The breakfast buffet also did not have many halal options. Another issue was hygiene at the buffet: I noticed some guests(Indians) touching food with their bare hands, and the staff did not intervene. The dine-in menu was also disappointing, as the food was not tasty. Overall, the service was excellent, but the facilities, food options, and buffet hygiene need improvement.
