The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained. The location is excellent, tucked away in an accessible alley near restaurants, street vendors, and spas. It’s also just a short walk from Hoàn Kiếm Lake, which is especially convenient during the lively weekend walking street festivities. The breakfast buffet was another highlight. There was a great variety of options, including a rotating soup selection, which made it fun to try different flavors throughout our stay. The staff were outstanding. Everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming, especially Jay Ho, My Linh, and many other team members whose names I unfortunately can’t recall. Their hospitality truly made the experience special. I would highly recommend staying here for its convenience, sense of safety, excellent service, and overall experience.

I recently stayed at Hanoi Pearl Hotel and, overall, I had a pleasant experience. The hotel’s greatest strength is its excellent location. It’s within walking distance of Hoan Kiem Lake, with plenty of restaurants, cafés, convenience stores, and shops just outside the hotel. The room was also clean, comfortable, and well maintained. During my stay, I experienced a couple of situations that I believe were caused by communication issues rather than poor service. On our first morning, we were told by the receptionist that breakfast started at 6:00 AM. Since we had an early tour, we arrived right at 6:00, only to find that only a small selection of food was available. We later realized that the full buffet wasn’t ready yet, and another guest experienced the same confusion. A simple explanation such as, “Breakfast begins at 6:00 AM, but the full buffet will be available a little later,” would have set expectations much better. The second incident happened the following morning. We were rushing to catch our tour bus, so I asked the restaurant staff if I could have two breakfast boxes for my daughter and me. The staff kindly prepared them without mentioning any restrictions. While I was packing the food already in the box, my daughter had already started eating from the buffet. As we were leaving, I was stopped by a staff member and informed that takeaway breakfast was not permitted. I completely understand that hotels have policies, but what made the situation uncomfortable was that no one had explained this when I requested the boxes. If the request wasn’t allowed, it would have been much better to let me know at that moment instead of stopping me as I was leaving. It felt embarrassing, even though the misunderstanding resulted from inconsistent communication between team members rather than any intention on my part to break the rules. Initially, I left feeling that I had been treated as though I had done something wrong, when in reality both situations could have been avoided with clearer communication between the front desk, restaurant staff, and management. However, I would also like to recognize what happened afterward. Manager Kevin personally reached out and sincerely apologized for my experience. I truly appreciated that he took the time to listen, understand how I felt, and acknowledge the communication issues. His professionalism and willingness to accept feedback changed my overall impression of the hotel. I am writing this review not to criticize the hotel, but to provide constructive feedback because I genuinely believe this is a good place to stay. The location is fantastic, the rooms are comfortable, and the team clearly cares about their guests. With more consistent communication and a more guest-friendly approach in situations like these, the overall experience would be even better. Because of the sincere apology and the way my concerns were handled afterward, I am happy to update my rating to 5 stars and would confidently recommend Hanoi Pearl Hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi.

The staff is very friendly and helpful at all times. The breakfast was magnificent with fresh juices and made to order eggs. The location is minutes away from the French quarter and the old town. Great quality per price! Rooms are spacious, with a safe, bathrobes and toiletries.

What a lovely hotel. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and extremely clean. The breakfast buffet has a really impressive choice of both Asian and European foods, and all have been delicious. We've eaten banh mi in the snack bar and had evening meals in the restaurant and we've enjoyed it all. The hotel is very well placed for all the attractions, just a very short walk from the lake. Any hotel is nothing without its staff and the staff here have been amazing. They are so friendly, kind, and helpful l, thank you so much to you all

The location is excellent, with many attractions within walking distance. The hotel staff were kind, helpful, and always provided great service. The room was a little dated but clean and well-maintained. The breakfast was decent with a good selection. There are fewer well-known restaurants around the hotel, but I would personally recommend MIA’s Restaurant and Pizza 4’PS nearby.

The best part of our stay was undoubtedly the hotel’s location. Getting around to the various areas of the city we wanted to check out was incredibly easy. The bed and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. However, we both agreed the value for money was not great. We hadn’t caught when we made our booking that our room wouldn’t have windows. It made for an unpleasant cave-like & claustrophobic experience. The breakfast was just okay. The fitness center we chose this hotel for (we’re both training for an upcoming events) was little more than two treadmills. None of these complaints would hold much weight for us, if not for how relatively expensive this hotel was in comparison to the places we stayed across the rest of the country, Saigon included. We’ve otherwise had wonderful boutique experiences with great breakfast & wonderful views out of real life windows for half the price. Given that, we would not stay here again.

Super clean hotel. Friendly staffs throughout checking in and out. Super convenient to large shopping malls around the hotel. Easy to get all different varieties of foods.

- Nice hotel in a good location in the Old Quarter. |- Rooms are large. |- Be warned of the shower is a shower/tub combo and the bathtub has a high climb. |- AC was inconsistent in rooms - we had a deluxe room and AC was not consistent. We also had an executive room (when we returned a few days later) and the AC was consistent and excellent |- Get the deluxe room and skip the executive room. The executive room itself was smaller, the bed was bigger and the “city view” questionable.|- Breakfast was okay - it did the job. Items were slow to be replenished.|- The little cafe outside was great - good for morning coffee and watching the day unfold. |- Happy hour is at the roof top bar - buy 2 get 1 free on selected items from 3:30 to 6pm. The two young men (usually dressed in black) made excellent drinks but beware if they step away and someone else fills in (likely in a beige uniform) the quality may not be as good. |- Staff - attentive, smiling, approachable and helpful. Special mention to Harvey, the manager (?) at the coffee shop and inside the restaurant, the gentlemen manning the rooftop bar. |- Overall 7/10 (or 3.5/5)
