I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Du Lac in Hanoi. From the very first moment, everyone made me feel incredibly welcome and cared for. The staff were exceptionally friendly, warm, and genuine — whether at the reception, in the restaurant, on the rooftop terrace, or even the trainees (Anh, is i remember), every single person was kind, professional, and attentive. The hotel was spotless at all times, and the level of hospitality and service truly exceeded my expectations. Everyone went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and memorable. It honestly could not have been better. A big thank you to the entire team for such an amazing experience. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi!

Loved every second of my stay. From the moment I stepped in, Dulcie made me feel so welcome with cinnamon tea and her explanation/recommendations of the area. Check in was smooth and I loved my room on the 11th floor. Room was not the largest but it had everything I needed, and breakfast both mornings was simply amazing. On top of basic breakfast foods, they had a selection of chicken/pork/carbonara etc. Everyone - from the front door to breakfast to massage - was helpful, professional, and lovely to talk to. This was my first time in Hanoi and I know where to stay the next time I visit!

The hotel and staff were a sanctuary. Couldn’t be more happy and grateful. I arrived exhausted from traveling for 30 something hours and had to find a new hotel within minutes and the staff was incredibly accommodating and kind. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in old town Hanoi. It’s conveniently close to everything and my room was very quiet. It didn’t have a window, which is the norm here but it helped when jet lag kicked in and wanted peace and quiet from the outside. The view from the top floor bar was very pretty as well. My friend had a balcony and she loved it as well. 10/10 recommend.

Stayed with mum and I for 3 nights at Hotel Du Lac - great hotel in a great location within old town. Loved the art/decor of the place - and the service from the team was fantastic. They checked in, were friendly, gave great recommendations, helped book restaurants, and even messaged us about something we had left behind and transported it to our next hotel. The only downside in the rooms was the size - they were a little small to comfortably fit/open 2 suitcases. We loved watching the streetscape from the balcony and being able to walk so easily to the lake. Breakfast here was also fab! Thanks for a great stay!

They do everything to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast is sensational with a wide variety of choices. The rooms are very clean. The hotel is very well located (near the lake) and quiet. We were able to take a shower before leaving for the airport, a welcome service in the heat. Just the room is little bit small. I highly recommend this hotel. Many thanks again to all the staff and particularly Ms Jolie.

Genuinely had such an amazing stay here. The rooms were clean, ours didn't have a window but that didn't affect our stay. Location was great, located in the center, very close to all the food and the lake. The staff were super helpful and friendly. The breakfast selection wasn't grand but there was new local snacks/sweets that changed daily. Woke up every morning looking forward to the breakfast. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much to the staff for making our stay such an amazing one.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. It's a slice of paradise in the old quarter. After spending the day in the craziness of Hanoi, it was so nice to come back to this hotel which was quiet and relaxing. We originally had a junior suite with balcony but the AC could not keep up with the heat so we were moved into their superior suite on the 12th floor. If I ever return to Hanoi, I'll book that suite again. The ac worked great. Super water pressure, lots of room and comfy bed. And so quiet. Plus, only 1 floor down from the rooftop bar which was lovely at night. Our son had an executive room on the 8th floor that was very cool and very comfortable and pretty. This hotel is on one of the best streets because there are minimarts nearby to pick up snacks and lots of nearby restaurants but it's not on one of the major thoroughfares. Very close to the lake for walking around at night. Besides the comfort of the room, the staff was lovely and so kind. Daniel was who we dealt with a lot and he was very professional and very kind. We arranged transportation from and back to the airport and it was great. The breakfast is also very good with delicious Vietnamese coffee and a nice selection of Western and Asian choices. Really good home made jams and yogurt and pressed juices. You will love this jewel of a hotel. It is beautiful inside and the decor is gorgeous. The rooms are beautifully appointed and as stated above, quiet and so comfortable. And the staff is wonderful. I don't hesitate in highly recommending this hotel.

From the start I knew my stay here would be great. The staff in the reception area was nothing short of exceptional. Jolie specifically was super kind and enthusiastic, she was so welcoming! My first night I went up to the rooftop and spoke with Oscar who gave me a run down of all the amazing things Vietnam has to offer. Sett was super friendly as well making sure I was comfortable at the rooftop. The cleaning crew also did a great job tidying my room each day. My favorite part about my stay was going for complimentary breakfast every morning. The food was so delicious and I liked that there was a buffet style set up as well as a menu you can order from. The vietnamese coffee specifically was the best coffee I had while in Hanoi! Overall, my 3 night stay here was extremely enjoyable and I did not want to leave! Thank you to all the staff that made these few days unforgettable.
