The room was clean: floor, toilet, towels, bed, blanket, bed sheets and pillows. There was no smell in the room, which was great, while the hall/reception was very fragrant with incense sticks, which was really relaxing

Unsure why there are many negative reviews as I had a very pleasant experience. Friendly staff, clean rooms and quiet atmosphere despite the location. The lady at the front allowed me to check in 3 hours early and even accepted my request to check out late at no extra charge.

I can't speak to all the really poor reviews for this place (perhaps some management issues at the time?) but they have been extremely accommodating for us. We had to push our booking out by 2 days on the day we were supposed to arrive and they just switched it, no worries. The room is a really good size, shower is lovely and hot, and the bed is king sized and comfortable. Couldn't ask for more. Yes, you do get some noise from the corridor from time to time during the day and there's not a heap of natural light, but for the price, I'm OK with that. We'll be staying twice more now before we leave Vietnam. I'd give them a chance for sure!

Is second time of booking this Double Deluxe Room Type (Unit 301). Nice hot shower, functional air&hot-conditioner, providing hairdryer, soup & shampoo, clean room & toilet. Yes, the hotel is beside the busy road so you need to deal with the traffic noise (as what normally local will encounters). The toilet is not wet/dry separated, so you need slippers to deal with (Slippers provided).

The hotel offered very reasonable prices for my trip to Hanoi. The furniture in both the hotel and the room exceeded my expectations in terms of quality and style. The staff and the owner were incredibly warm and hospitable, going out of their way to recommend great dining spots and greeting me warmly every day. Overall, it felt like staying with family, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Hanoi.

Pros: beautiful hotel building, soft bed, good location near the big parks, friendly staffs, large reception floor and hotel front that can park your motorbike. Cons: not quiet, you can hear the voice next door and the refrigerator’s noise, the staff voices, etc so much. The refrigerator is not cool at all. The shower has no separator with the toilet, so after shower all the entire toilet-shower room is wet. There was no electric outlet near the kettle so it was very inconvenient to use. The body soaps was empty and we need to request the refill before shower. If you shower right after entering the room, there would not be enough hot water for you (you need electric and time to heat the water), but this seems the common hot water boiling system in Hanoi hotels.

WARNING: DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL! WORST HOTEL IN HANOI. We were given a room that had faulty airconditioning and the Receptionist just laughed at us. He refused to find a room nor a solution to the problem. And too bad this happened on my birthday of all days. AGAIN, PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO BOOK AT THIS HOTEL.

Don’t stay here. All the bad reviews are true. It is a cheap imitation of Le Grande and they double book rooms if you arrive at night. I booked a city view. I arrived at night. My room had been given to someone else. They pawned off a crappy room with a view of the lobby. The glass wasn’t one way, so everyone in the lobby could see in, so I might as well not had had a window at all. The night I arrived I phoned Agoda after the management refused to do anything, was disconnected, phoned back and the Agoda representative couldn’t find my booking for several minutes, saying it didn’t exist. After leaving me on hold the Agoda representative eventually let me know they couldn’t reach the hotel management and would update me in 24 hours. About 2 weeks later after a generic email everyday saying they can’t reach the hotel, I got a generic message saying the hotel refuses to do anything and Agoda is only willing to give me $5 off my next booking if used on certain hotels in 6 months. Agoda’s customer care, customer support and refusal to hold the hotel accountable is sad.
