  First and foremost, I would like to emphasize that the service at this hotel is truly exceptional, the best we have ever experienced, by far. We have stayed in many 5-star hotels across different countries, including some of the most prestigious, but the level of care and attention we received here was simply outstanding. That said, the location is also perfect, walkable distance from the main areas, the rooms are clean, the shower is great. A very special thank you to Ms. Anh, who looked after us throughout our entire stay. Her kindness, professionalism, and dedication turned our stay into an unforgettable experience. Thank you to every member of the hotel staff who made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. You are all amazing. This may not be the most luxurious hotel or the one with the most extensive amenities, but what truly sets it apart is its incredible service.

  If I could give 6 stars, I absolutely would. After a 12-hour flight, we arrived at Meritel Hanoi and were warmly welcomed by the staff with refreshing cold towels and a welcome drink — exactly what we needed after such a long journey. The check-in experience was smooth, and the hospitality immediately stood out. After spending a few nights in Hanoi, we traveled to other destinations and later returned to Meritel — and somehow, the welcome the second time was even warmer than the first. The staff truly make you feel remembered and valued. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Hanoi, Meritel is an easy choice. Exceptional service, genuine hospitality, and a fantastic experience from start to finish. Highly recommended.

  I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Meritel Hanoi. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming and attentive. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained — perfect for relaxing after exploring the city. One of the highlights was the availability of vegetarian options, which made dining much easier and enjoyable. The hotel’s location is unbeatable: right in the heart of Hanoi, just a short walk from the iconic Hoan Kiem Lake. It’s also conveniently close to several Indian restaurants, which was a big plus for me. Overall, Hotel Meritel offers a great combination of warm hospitality, good food choices, and prime location. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hanoi, especially if you’re looking for comfort and easy access to the city’s main attractions.

  We had a wonderful two-night stay at Meritel Hanoi. Despite my broken foot, the hotel went above and beyond by providing me with a wheelchair, which allowed us to comfortably explore the city. We truly appreciated this thoughtful gesture. The breakfast was absolutely incredible, with a wide variety of delicious options. Our room was beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable. Most importantly, every member of the staff was exceptionally kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. The level of service was outstanding—truly deserving of a 5-star rating. We highly recommend Meritel Hanoi to anyone visiting Hanoi and would happily stay here again.

  We slept very comfortably, the service was excellent, and it was close to the attractions. They also offered luggage storage. Thoughtfully, they will provide you with earplugs.Since we were taking the train to Sapa, we had some time after check-out. They also provided a shower with towels and soap.5 star service

  A Truly Exceptional Stay – Outstanding Hospitality from Ben and the Team||From the moment we walked through the doors of Meritel Hanoi, we knew we had chosen the perfect place to stay. The hotel itself is beautiful, but what truly sets it apart is the incredible level of service.||A very special thank you to Ben, who made our stay unforgettable. He greeted us with genuine warmth and professionalism, arranged early access to our room after our journey, and made us feel like valued guests from the very beginning. When we returned for a second stay, Ben personally welcomed us back at the door, had refreshments waiting for us, and later checked in to ensure everything was perfect. He happily arranged restaurant reservations, offered wonderful local recommendations, and nothing was ever too much trouble.||What touched us most was that Ben even came in before his shift started just to say goodbye before we left. That level of genuine care and hospitality is incredibly rare and speaks volumes about both Ben and the culture at Meritel Hanoi. He is an absolute credit to the hotel and one of the best hospitality professionals we have ever encountered.||Our room was spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. The bed and pillows were heavenly, ensuring a wonderful night’s sleep, and we loved the elegant blend of French colonial style with Vietnamese charm throughout the hotel.||The rooftop bar was a real highlight, offering a fantastic atmosphere to relax after a day of exploring Hanoi. Breakfast was fresh, varied, and delicious each morning, with plenty of options to suit every taste.||The location couldn’t be better—close enough to easily walk to the Old Quarter, Train Street, Hoàn Kiếm Lake, and countless cafés and restaurants, yet peaceful enough to enjoy a quiet and relaxing stay.||We travel frequently and have stayed in many luxury hotels, but the warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality we experienced at Meritel Hanoi made this one of our favourite stays. Thank you to Ben and the entire team for making us feel so welcome. We will absolutely be back and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Meritel Hanoi to anyone visiting Hanoi.

  We spent 5 wonderful nights at the Meritel in the heart of the old quarter. The hotel is modern, beautiful and charming. We loved our small balcony on the 6th floor that allowed us to stand and watch the world from above. |The Hotel restaurant menu is extensive and the quality of food, flavours and value is outstanding. We found the restaurant experience very special thanks to the wonderful girls working the afternoon shift, and we still crave the chilled ginger tea that we can’t find anywhere else. |The location is ideal, just 150m walk from Train St and multiple lane ways bustling with local street vendors and a mix of higher end cafes and western foods. We walked everywhere through our stay and barely needed any other mode of transport. |House keeping was exceptional and very comfortable beds, strong Wi-fi and all the essentials 10/10.|A wonderful check in by Katy with an abundance of information and map of local eats and points of interest.| We will be back to the Meritel - Thank you again for a perfect stay.

  I had a really nice stay. Everyone was kind and welcoming, especially Thuy at the spa, My at the restaurant, and Linh at reception. They made my family and me feel comfortable and well taken care of. From the chocolates we received when we arrived to the lovely gift they gave us when we checked out, every detail was so thoughtful. The food was delicious, the spa was wonderful, and everything was spotless. I’d definitely recommend this hotel..
