Nikita and her colleague were amazing! 😄 From the start, we explored the markets and Nikita was incredibly informative about the ingredients and surroundings. It was so interesting learning about new foods, especially the fruit, and hearing the stories behind their names. Moving on to the cooking class — we loved the personal touch. Any food we took an interest in at the market, Nikita bought for us to try! The cooking itself was so much fun and completely pressure-free. Both women were so patient (especially with my clumsiness!), and my husband loved learning new recipes. Afterwards, we sat down like family and had great conversations about cultural differences, history, and were given fantastic recommendations for Hanoi. We really recommend booking this experience as it exceeded our expectations and truly made our trip to Hanoi. Even with the rainy, gloomy weather, Nikita absolutely brightened the day for us!

Did the vegetarian cooking class with a friend last month. Excellent experience all around! Nikita is passionate about Hanoi, and it came across in her tour, and in her respectful approach to the vendors in the market. My favorite stop was visiting the tofu shop and seeing how tofu was made. The food we made was delicious (although a lot of hard work!), and I look forward to my next tour with Nikita and Hidden Hanoi. Definitely recommend for culture and food while getting a local guide's perspective. Easy to book as well.

The I Love Pho cooking class through Hidden Hanoi was well worth it. Our instructor, Nikita, was very engaging, starting with a trip through the frog market and wet market of Hanoi and then preparing a delicious pot of pho. I can’t wait to share a bowl with my friends back home.

We had an awesome tour of the Old Quarter with Nikita! The tour started with an egg and salt coffee in a historic home/ coffee shop and ended with a rickshaw ride. The tour was insightful, casual, and filled with unexpected experiences. Highly recommend!

My partner and I had an amazing time with Trang yesterday learning to cook my favorite dish, bun cha. She was an excellent teacher, and shared many stories and information about local traditions and culture. I really appreciated that this class taught you how to make the dish over charcoal outdoors, rather than on an indoor grill, as the experience felt more authentic and tasted more like what you would actually get served here in Hanoi. We’re very excited to take our new cooking knowledge home and make this dish again and again. We’ve taken 9 cooking classes in 2+ months in SE Asia and this class was top notch and definitely one of the best classes we have taken.

Amazing day at Hidden Hanoi, great tour at the market, explaining everything. The food was amazing, and we really felt like we knew what we were doing. Our hostess was amazing, really sweet and had a lot of recommendations for our stay. Took pictures of us cooking, which was lovely. Would definitely recommend this for others! Going on their food tour tommorow.

We had wonderful tours of the Old Quarter and a food tour in the non touristy part of town. Both were fun and we learned a ton about the culture and the people. I highly recommend doing both with Nikita. It's a great way to experience the city.

We were a group of long term expats living in Hanoi. I know the lady owner Nikita for some time. Before COVID she had many acctivities and events for travelers as well as Hanoi international community. Her place, Hidden Hanoi cooking centre, is a truly beautiful place. The last 2 years, when Vietnam was closed for visitors, she had really tough time, but she managed to think about events for long term expats as us. We did lunchtime Hanoi food tour with her and had amazing time. We were able to discover different parts of the city, taste some new dishes and drinks (cca 9 of them). We were so full 😅. I highly recommend to try some of Nikita's activities.
