  I'm very delighted of my experience with TVO! The 1-to-1 classes are really well organized and the progress are remarkable. The learning pace can be adjusted to the learners' needs, that's just perfect. The books are also very useful. A special thank to chị Huyền, she's an amazing teacher : friendly, dynamic, professional. I highly recommend TVO for learning Vietnamese!

  I love Tiếng Việt Ơi! Tiếng Việt Ơi is the coolest. I had three teachers at TVO - Hạnh, Tuyết, and Linh, and they were all incredible. I studied with them for five months, four hours every day, and I had a great time! I learned a lot and my Vietnamese has improved significantly. I would 100% recommend TVO to everyone who wants to improve their Vietnamese. Once again a shoutout to my three TVO GOATS - Hạnh, Tuyết, and Linh!

  I have just completed the Beginner group course at the Hanoi school. The group of 4-5 was an ideal size for all students to participate meaningfully in exercises and discussions. Teacher Linh led the class very well and always kept a good momentum. The course had a very good balance of grammar and vocabulary instruction as well as covering listening comprehension, reading comprehension and speaking practice. The course comes with a very good course book for revision of topics learnt in class or for subsequent reference. I will continue with the next level.

  I chose to study at Tieng Viet Oi for two months, starting already with a basic level of prior knowledge. I’ve taken both 1:1 offline and online lessons, and I can clearly see how the teachers tailor the content to my needs and interests, often incorporating cultural insights along the way. The learning materials and YouTube videos are very well designed and will definitely help me continue practicing Vietnamese after I leave. The offline location is also pleasant and conveniently close to West Lake, making it perfect for a walk or a visit to one of the many beautiful cafés after class.

  My sons studied here and got me set up when I was ready to learn Vietnamese. Both my teachers were fantastic; patient and they really emphasized the pronunciation, which is so important. The staff are all amazing, thoughtful, friendly and helpful. I love the house where classes are held too. I will keep going back for more classes whenever I can. Thank you Tieng Viet Oi.

  Did the Vibrant Taste of Dong Da tour and honestly it was one of the best things we did in Hanoi. Our guide Dũng knew secret spots, took us to spots we never would’ve found on our own, and made the whole thing feel personal. The food was great but really it’s Dũng that made the experience. We went to 6 different spot, all unique and delicious, while getting us out of our comfort zone! Worth every penny.

  After considering how to study Vietnamese effectively during my limited one-week stay in Hanoi, I chose the intensive one-on-one course at this school—and I’m very glad I did. Each lesson is highly focused and well structured, allowing students to gradually progress even from absolute zero. The content is tailored to each student’s level and learning pace, and includes practical activities such as ordering food in Vietnamese at restaurants and cafés. I have studied several foreign languages before and am familiar with effective learning methods. Based on that experience, I can say the classes here are excellent. The teacher is very patient and kind, and the lessons are clear and easy to follow—everything exceeded my expectations. All lessons are conducted in English, and both teachers and staff speak fluent, clear English. (Those with weaker English skills may find group lessons a bit challenging.) Finally, even though the school was officially closed during the New Year holidays, they kindly arranged classes just for me. I truly appreciate their support and would love to visit again in the future.

  Genuinely some of the best language education I have experienced in my time. I have studied Japanese, Greek, German, Latin, and Icelandic, but the curriculum of Tiếng Việt Ơi is really excellent and a great balance of formal vs informal language. I have been taking lessons online for several months and they have been very accommodating and helpful. The teacher I have had, Nhu, is amazing and has an great understanding of returning to concepts in a cycle to remember and practice consistently without feeling repetitive. Overall, I highly recommend Tiếng Việt Ơi for studying Vietnamese. The lesson packages are a great deal and I think it's the best option out there for learning Vietnamese.
