It was my first time in Hanoi, and I happened to walk past this restaurant. It was quite busy during lunch, which I took as a good sign, so I decided to give it a try. From the moment I arrived, the staff at the entrance welcomed me warmly and introduced their dishes. I was seated immediately in a cosy spot by the window, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I was then served by Katy, who was exceptional with her recommendations. After sharing my preferences, she suggested the iced white latte and grilled fish, and she was spot on! The restaurant has air conditioning and plays jazz music, making it a perfect place to cool down and relax after a hot, sunny day in Vietnam. The prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes and quality of the food. I would 100% recommend giving this place a try. Thank you, Katy, for taking such great care of me today 🥰💖

Delicious food and a really lovely experience. The crispy spring rolls were perfect, the sizzling beef dish was rich, comforting, and full of flavor, and the fresh herbs and hot tea tied everything together beautifully. A big shout-out to our server Katy, who was incredibly sweet and made us feel very welcome. Would happily come back again.

Had such a satisfying meal today! Everything we ordered was delicious and well-prepared. The pork ribs were definitely a standout — tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The egg coffee was also amazing, rich and creamy with the perfect balance of sweetness and coffee kick. ☕🍖 We also enjoyed: * Fried rice * Grilled chicken with rice and mixed veggies * Pork ribs with fries and salad * Egg coffee On top of the great food, the service was excellent — staff were warm, attentive, and very accommodating. Overall, a really enjoyable dining experience. Will definitely come back again! ✨

We have been one week in Vietnam. Everyday try to eat at the very best premium restaurants. Second last day, we just went in to this cozy little restaurant by "misstake". It was the best food ever. The white wine of the house is a lucky hit among the tasty sweet fruity wine. Order it! Do the Vietnamese menu! Friendly staff and clean place. We wish that we found this place the first day. 😀

We found Comida on our first night in Hanoi and had an amazing meal there, particularly enjoying the Bún Chà. We then returned a few days later for a cooking class that is one of the highlights of our trip. Katy, our warm and friendly hostess, met us at our hotel and took us to the markets to buy ingredients for our meal. We then went to the restaurant where we spent an informative and fun morning with our chef/teacher, Ken. Ken was patient and helpful, which put us at ease straight away. Once our class had finished, we ate the results of our lesson in Vietnamese cooking and were amazed to find that we had produced a meal full of authentic flavours after just one lesson! I can’t recommend these classes enough - a must for any foodie who loves Vietnamese food 🌟

Pretty good experience to have a quick and good Vietnamese local meal. Tried the Bun cha and coconut juice here. The Bun cha, serves rice noodles in a fish sauce dip, slightly sweet and savory (its yummy), with grill pork belly and meat balls. I would say, I'd better elsewhere, but its still a good, decent, and reasonably priced.

The food and overall experience started off really well. The Vietnamese pancake was delicious, and it was a lovely touch that the staff demonstrated how to wrap it. Katy was wonderful – attentive, friendly, and incredibly helpful. She went beyond service, giving us thoughtful recommendations for our trip and taking the time to chat with us, which we really appreciated. However, a few hours after the meal, my partner became quite unwell. We suspect it may have been related to the grilled chicken, possibly not being freshly prepared, but reheated. While we can’t be 100% certain, the timing was hard to ignore – especially as he hadn’t eaten anything else that day apart from some toast in the morning. It’s a shame because the service and experience were genuinely great, but this did affect our overall impression and now, almost a week later, still is affecting our holiday, so it is something we feel is important to mention.
