I was between two plates and Lily recommended me this one. It was the most delicious meal that I’ve ever had in my 4 weeks in Vietnam. I’m so happy with this flavour. I strongly recommend my plate. Unbelievable!!!! 🩷🩷🩷 (btw, many places around are always asking for recommendations or reviews but not here, this is an honest review). Amazing place!

What an amazing place. Extensive luxurious menu: we had the Cha Ca fish dish, a Hanoi specialty, generous and full of flavour; the buffalo steak, which was juicy and delicious; and pomelo and prawn salad, sweet and tangy. It was a lot of food but we ate it all as it was so good. Cocktails were great - and great value as we arrived during Happy Hour. Lily served us attentatively and with great humour. I would like to thank Toan in the kitchen for cooking and presenting such amazing food. Thanks guys it was a lovely evening

It was a wonderful experience at Hanoi food culture. The restaurant is clean with nice atmosphere. We tried most of the local dishes and they were really tasty. The service was perfect and Quang made sure that everything went smoothly. Will definitely be back.

so yummy! the bun cha (which is my favourite vietnamese dish) was the best I’ve ever had- very cute pretty restaurant. Portion size is great- me and my boyfriend couldn’t finish it somehow. 10/10. Great service from Quang

Absolutely amazing food, friendly staff and highly accommodative for gluten free - lots of options to choose from. Trang assisted me with my time here. She was so friendly and informative which is great when dining with dietary requirements. So good I even came back again! Couldn’t recommended enough!

Great cooking class with Mai and Trang. We got a guided tour of the market and learnt how to cook spring rolls, green mango salad and Bun Cha. You get to share your food in a group meal followed by a demonstration of Vietnamese egg coffee, which is delicious. Thoroughly recommend them. Great hospitality.

We had an incredible meal at Hanoi Food Culture and can’t recommend it enough. The food was absolutely outstanding, specifically the mixed grilled skewers and the grilled chicken with lemongrass. The skewers had the perfect amount of char and smoky flavor, while the chicken was incredibly juicy and aromatic from the fresh lemongrass. No photos of our food just of our empty plates because it was that good. What really made the evening special, though, was the service from our server, Quang. He was so attentive and genuinely helpful. When we were initially ordering, he actually stepped in to let us know that what we had chosen was already enough for our party. It’s rare to find a server so honest—he was spot on, and we really appreciated him making sure we didn't over-order. Between the delicious flavors and Quang’s thoughtful hospitality, it was a perfect dining experience.

I ate here three times. The first time I got the lemongrass chicken and it was among the best meals on my trip. The second time I got the lak luk, which was fine but nothing special. My friend got the HFC curry which I liked better. The third time I got the buffalo steak which was outstanding and rivaled the lemongrass chicken. Really great food. It's popular with tour groups, so it might fill up suddenly. Nice location in a picturesque alley. Great draft craft beer. Not cheap, but it's really good.
