Lovely café with a charming location and plenty of space. There’s a small outdoor area, a cozy indoor section, and even seating upstairs, so you can almost always find a table—even when it’s busy. Despite the number of people, the noise level is surprisingly comfortable. The food was very tasty, and the portions are quite large—I couldn’t finish everything! A unique highlight is that they offer egg coffee classes where you can learn to make it yourself. We didn’t get to try it, but it definitely sounds worth it. Everything we had tasted great, but the peanut butter coffee was the standout for me—highly recommend! Overall, a great spot, also perfect for larger groups and likely very family-friendly. The decor is a bit old-fashioned, but that actually adds to the charm.

One of the best cafes in hanoi, so good we came back a few times during our stay in Vietnam. Food is amazing, staff are very polite and attentive, pricing is also very reasonable. We recommend trying to smoothie bowl and the pancakes We did not have to book and just turned up (only 2 of us), expect to wait a few minutes at peak times however. They also offer a coffee class here if you are looking for somewhere to do it, we did not get the chance to do this so cannot say how good it is 🙂

Food is so good and value for money. Our tummies are so happy after the not so good food we have been eating so far in our stay in Vietnam… We thought it was just a hole in the wall cafe but was surprised to find a big lovely cozy place with a very nice ambiance. The staff was so warm, pleasant and accommodating. Would definitely go back to this restaurant, highly recommended!! From “Sakura Nenes of the Philippines”!

This place is such a find in the busy streets near the market. We love the food and service! The serving is big and really made us full! TA and Leo were very helpful and assisted us in preparing our meals and drinks. Will definitely go back again!

An absolute must-visit in Hanoi! The new food menu is amazing—the Fish n Chips were perfectly crispy with flaky white fish, the Chicken Parmigiana was loaded with rich cheese and savory marinara sauce, and the Bangers n Mash featured wonderfully juicy sausages over creamy, comforting mashed potatoes. The highlight was definitely the Egg Coffee Workshop —making the ritual and crafting your own velvety cup right at the table is 100% worth it. Huge shoutout to TA and all team for the great, attentive service. The Hanoi Cafe is a true gem!

I strolled past this place one day and was instantly captivated by its beautiful exterior. Deciding to step inside, I was pleasantly surprised by the even more stunning interior and fantastic food. The drinks were great and the service was excellent.

Easily the best food we had in our short stay in Hanoi. We had the honey chicken, chao ca fish, and stuffed pumpkin. Every item was delicious; the meat was tender well seasoned; the herbs and veg was plentiful. The service from our waiter Tom was excellent. He was readily able to check allergy items, and very polite and easy to communicate with. The atmosphere of the courtyard and dining room is also excellent. It has a nostalgic and warm atmosphere. Old fashioned, in a good way. Our waiter told us it was 100 year old building, but it has been kept well. If I returned to Hanoi I would strongly consider booking a hotel on the same street as this delightful and delicious restaurant.

Came here based on recommendations from Google… The place has a really chill vibe and the ambience is very congruent with the Old Town Quarter.. Wanted to try their breakfast but they stop serving it at 2:30PM so was a little late. Ordered their recommendation i.e. Duck Noodle Soup, Fried Spring Rolls and Coconut Coffee… The duck soup tasted really good, the duck was cooked perfectly. The fried rolls were hot and had a filling of greens and pork. Yummy !!! The coconut coffee (iced) was ok, a little bitter for my liking but good, nevertheless.. Mos def coming back here and would 10/10 recommend for a visit and a lovely place to relax…
