I had a fantastic dinner at Tung's Kitchen and couldn't recommend it more. From the moment I arrived, Toni made me feel incredibly welcome. He took the time to suggest and recommend a drink for my meal and it was spot on. I'm vegetarian, and I was pleasantly surprised by how many options there were. I also really appreciated that you can customise dishes and add extras like tofu, which made it even easier to find exactly what I wanted. The food was beautifully presented, full of flavour and clearly made with care. Combined with Toni's warm and attentive service, it made for a really memorable evening. If you're in Hanoi, this place is definitely worth a visit. I'll certainly be back next time I'm here.

We visited this restaurant for the second time – and it was just as amazing as the first! On our first visit, everything was already fantastic, but what really made our second visit unforgettable was our waiter, Long! We arrived quite late, just before closing time, and despite that, he welcomed us so warmly and made us feel completely comfortable right away. Long was incredibly friendly, funny, attentive, and super fast with everything. You could really tell that he genuinely cares about the guests and loves what he’s doing. Even though it was already late, he never made us feel rushed and still delivered top-notch service. The food was absolutely delicious once again – truly outstanding. This time we brought friends along to show them this place, and they were just as impressed as we were. Everyone loved it! Honestly, everything here is perfect: the atmosphere, the service, and the food. But a very special thank you goes to Long for making our evening so enjoyable and for still serving us with such kindness so close to closing time. We’ll definitely be coming back again. Highly recommended!

Just an amazing place to share a meal with your loved ones. Enjoying authentic and delicious Vietnamese food while overlooking the hum of Old Quarter Hanoi as the cars and motorbikes drive by (pick the outdoor seating if available). Prices are very reasonable and excellent portion sizes for sharing. Service was absolutely top notch (thanks Ving for taking care of us) and overall experience made us hungry for more. We highly recommend Tung's Kitchen!

Without a doubt, Tung’s Kitchen was the best meal we had during our trip to Hanoi. My wife ordered the braised pork served in a clay pot, and it was outstanding. It came with a fresh cabbage and carrot salad with a delicious dressing, and the rice was topped with a unique garnish that added great flavor. She also had a mango smoothie that was excellent. The meal was so good she finished it in no time. I ordered the traditional Chả Cá fried fish. It was served with rice paper, fresh greens, mint, carrots, pineapple, dill, and other vegetables so you could make your own rolls. Paired with the dipping sauce, it was absolutely delicious and one of the most memorable dishes of our trip. For dessert, we enjoyed a banana and mango crepe drizzled with chocolate sauce and served with vanilla ice cream—an excellent way to finish the meal. Overall, we would rate Tung’s Kitchen a 9.5 out of 10, and our server, Ving, gets a perfect 10. He was attentive, friendly, and took excellent care of us. Another pleasant surprise was that they accepted our Visa card with no extra swipe fee. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Hanoi and looking for authentic Vietnamese food and outstanding service. After 5 you should make a reservation Our bill was $22.86 for 2 entries, smoothie, bottle water and desert for two

We ordered the Bun Cha, Seafood fried noodles and Caramelised Banana w Chocolate ice cream for dinner. We were surprised at how good they tasted! Our server Mr K was very friendly and enthusiastic, he taught us how to make a Bun Cha roll with the rice paper. Thanks K for the pleasant dining experience! Side note: Would be great if the Bun Cha came with more pork, and less vegetable as there was proportionately way more vegetable than meat. But overall, great experience. Would recommend!

This place was busy but we (two of us) were still accommodated without a booking. Ordered stir fry beef with pepper sauce, Mekong Delta pancake and morning glory vegetables. All the food was delicious but we particularly enjoyed rolling the pancakes in rice paper. Our waiter Ving was very friendly and showed use how to do it. Would recommend.
