  We had an amazing long stay at Hanoi Lion! We stayed for 6 nights and it was the best stay we’ve ever had in Vietnam. Location was super convenient as it’s right in the Old Quarter. Everything is walking distance. The rooms and facilities are well-kept, clean, and quiet. You cannot hear the noisy street once inside. Service was great! The reception staff are also super kind and helpful. We bought mangoes during our stay and they staff were more than happy to peal and prepare them for us 😌 we also asked for a late checkout and they gave us 2-hr of late checkout for free. Breakfast was ok! Good selection of food, not the best hotel breakfast buffet I’ve seen but it’s not bad either. I highly recommend Hanoi Lion hotel! You won’t be disappointed.

  This hotel is truly wonderful. The amenities are amazing and the rooms are very clean. Most importantly, the people here are so welcoming and kind. Sophie, in particular, went out of her way to take care of us for our entire stay. I have never stayed in a hotel where the people care so much! I would highly recommend for all travelers (including non-Vietnamese speakers).

  Really good experience at the Hanoi Lion. I found the ‘internal window’ room (common in Hanoi hotels) a challenge with no natural light, so recommend booking a room with a window. The gym and sauna were included and very well maintained. The staff are what make this hotel special. The restaurant staff are excellent and the choice is varied. Christine on reception should give lessons internationally on customer service - she is just brilliant, as are the rest of the staff. We felt very welcome at all times. Great and bustling location too - next to the train street and near the Michelin Pho restaurant. Recommended.

  Had the best stay here thanks to Son, Long and Sophie! The hotel is centrally located in the old quarter (close to everything) and wasn’t as noisy as some of the other streets, which was great. Not only were the rooms spotless, spacious and comfortable, but what makes everything stand out is the service. From the breakfast to being able to store my luggage while I was out and bout to even letting me use the gym shower after checkout, Son and Long specifically went out of their way to make me feel like a valued customer. Thank you! I enjoyed my stay so much that I’ve decided to book extra days at this hotel for the end of my trip when I’m back in Hanoi. Cam on!

  We had an amazing stay at this hotel and couldn’t be happier with our experience. The cleanliness of the entire property really stood out—everything was spotless, well-maintained, and made us feel comfortable right away. What truly made our stay exceptional, though, was the staff. Everyone was warm and welcoming, but we especially want to thank Rose and Long for going above and beyond. They were incredibly helpful, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. I was having so much pain. Rose and Long immediately helped by calling the clinic and registered me so I will be seen right away by a doctor. When I got to the clinic , I was seen immediately by the doctor. Their genuine hospitality made a big difference and made us feel so well taken care of. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable place with outstanding service. We would definitely stay here again!

  First hotel I have ever stayed in within Vietnam. So comparing it to others is not possible. It is very clean, staff are eager to please, ammenities would rank with most 4 Star hotels world wide. The rooms are modern and comfortable. The lack of windows in most rooms, wás an initial disappointment, but honestly the views would not be very interesting anyway. Typical of many inner city hotels, there isn't much to see. If this hotel room was in America it would cost at least 4 times as much. Maybe 5. I would definitely give my recommendation.

  I only had 2 days left before returning home, and this hotel was absolutely perfect for my stay. Located right in the Old Quarter, it was still quiet and peaceful, ideal for resting after my long trip. Rose at the reception desk was amazing. She was incredibly thoughtful and allowed us to check in early so we could rest, and also arranged a late check-out so we had more time to relax before our flight. She recommended many useful places to visit and even showed me where to buy gifts for my friends.The restaurant staff were also very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was delicious and well-balanced with plenty of nutritious options. I highly recommend staying at this hotel. It truly made my trip even more memorable!!!!

  Everything was great! Service staff were helpful too. Only thing is that the room allocated to me doesn't have window view to the outside, but rather a view to the internal corridor view in the hotel. Strangely odd design, but its ok as we were out travelling most of the time.
