Solaria hotel has an unbeatable location. Right in the heart of the action of the old quarter. The staff are excellent. Service is second to none. From the moment we arrived, the bellboys ran out to help us with our bags, the reception team were extremely friendly and had excellent English, and took the time to explain the old quarter to us. One surprising this was the restaurant downstairs IS THE BEST RESTAURANT IN THE OLD QUARTER!! This one should be winning a Michelin star. We felt the food was better than other top rated restaurants we tried in the area. We liked it so much we went there two days in a row. Breakfast is also good. Loved the à la carte and buffet options. Will be back!

The Solaria was the hotel highlight of a month of travel across Asia this summer, and the hospitality here was the best I experienced anywhere. The front desk could answer any question we had and consistently went out of their way to help, finding tour options, suggesting outings, and solving small problems before they became big ones. The breakfast staff were just as knowledgeable and generous with advice about the city. A special shout out to Paulus, Grace, and Daria, though truthfully every member of the staff was wonderful. The Solaria will be my home away from home whenever I visit Hanoi. Two small suggestions, offered because everything else was so good. First, our room had a water kettle but no tea or coffee. A couple of tea bags and some 3-in-1 coffee mix would make for a nice in-room teatime. Second, the family room was lovely, large, and comfortable, but quite dark. A better mix of overhead lighting would brighten it up considerably. Neither of these changed how we felt about the stay. Warm, professional, and personal from arrival to checkout. Highly recommended.

This was a really pleasant boutique hotel with a great location in Hanoi. We stayed for two nights and it was enough to see all the main spots in Hanoi and the hotel was located right in the old town with easy access to the lake and all the main spots. We originally thought we’d need more amenities like a gym and a pool but honestly we spent most of the days out and about so this hotel was just what we needed. What particularly stood out was the service from the hotel staff. Grace, her colleague Susan and others really went out of their way to help us every day, give us travel advice and sort out any concerns. Susan also managed to get us a great deal on a cruise to Ha Long Bay with one of the premium boats, and the cabin cost was so much cheaper than the vendors outside in Hanoi. I’d recommend anyone staying to check with the front desk if they can provide some prices for the Ha Long Bay cruises if interested. Additionally, breakfast was really top quality. A mixture of buffet food and hot food to order, with both western & eastern cuisines. The food quality was standout and I think we’ll be missing Pho every morning when we get home it was so good. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We had a fantastic 3 night stay at the hotel. From the moment we arrived we were really well looked after by Oliver, Lily and the entire team. At almost every moment staff wanted to help, offer advice and make us feel welcome. The location is also brilliant, a 30 second walk from the lake and a few minutes into the heart of the old quarter. The breakfast which was included in our stay was also really good each morning. Overall I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Hanoi

My Travel Agency, Exotic Tours in Hanoi, booked me at this hotel for 3 nights, 2 nights first, and a second night before my departure to Singapore. I had two different rooms. One on the 5th floor and one on a higher floor. Both were well maintained and clean. You should know that to get to the main check-in level, you have to walk up a flight of stairs. Also, breakfast, which is delicious and varied choices, on the top floor, but the elevator stops on floor below, so you have one flight of stairs to go up after you get off the elevator. Stairs are wide and with railings on each side, so easy to climb. The staff is very helpful and goes above and beyond whet you would expect. Harry, a recent hire is particularly helpful. The location is good and.close to hoan kiem lake and all manner of shops and restaurants.

We had a wonderful stay at Solaria Hotel Hanoi. The staff was incredibly warm and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. The location was perfect, close to everything yet still peaceful. The breakfast was a standout and ended up being my partner’s favorite breakfast of our entire trip. The rooftop views made it even more special. Overall, it exceeded our expectations, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend.

Generally speaking, people are very professional and friendly, the facility and the quality of service are also satisfactory, but unfortunately, some of the staff at this hotel lacked adequate hospitality. At breakfast, I went to the coffee machine because I wanted some coffee, and a staff member told me they would bring it to my table. However, another guest took that coffee, and no one followed up or assisted me afterward. Even when I went back to the coffee machine and showed that I was confused and in need of help, no one offered any assistance. In addition, I passed a housekeeping staff member coming out of the room next door, but she didn’t even greet me and seemed unfriendly.I hope these points will be improved so that customers can enjoy the stay at this hotel.

We spent four nights at the Solaria Hotel in Hanoi and were absolutely delighted. The location is very central within Hanoi, and many attractions are within walking distance. The service was incredibly good. The reception team was extremely friendly and competent; they offered us valuable tips and went out of their way to fulfill our every request. The breakfast served in the restaurant upstairs was also excellent—there was something for everyone, and you could even order eggs prepared in any style. The entire staff is very friendly. We would definitely recommend the Solaria Hotel.
