Friendly tour guide and good local knowledge. Vicky was a lovely host. The open air jeep was a fun way to see the city and surrounds.

I’ve done quite a few city tours while traveling, but this Jeep tour in Hanoi stood out for one big reason: Emma. From the moment we met her, Emma brought such a warm, positive energy that instantly made everyone feel comfortable. She wasn’t just a guide—she felt more like a friend showing us around her city. Her English was excellent, her storytelling was natural, and she had this way of explaining things that made even small details feel interesting and meaningful. What I really appreciated was how Emma balanced everything perfectly. She shared historical insights about Hanoi, but never in a boring or “lecture” way. Instead, she mixed in personal stories, local perspectives, and little cultural nuances that you wouldn’t find in any guidebook. It made the whole experience feel authentic and alive. As we rode through the busy streets, hidden alleys, and quieter neighborhoods, Emma kept checking in to make sure everyone was enjoying themselves. She was thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely cared about our experience—not something you always get on tours. One of my favorite moments was when she took us to a small local spot for food. Without her, we would have never found it. She explained what we were eating, how locals enjoy it, and even shared a few fun tips on Vietnamese food culture. It turned a simple meal into a memorable cultural experience. Crossing Long Bien Bridge with Emma was also special. She pointed out things we would have completely missed and gave us a deeper understanding of the area’s history and significance, all while keeping the vibe relaxed and fun. By the end of the tour, it didn’t feel like we had just seen Hanoi—it felt like we had connected with it. And a huge part of that was thanks to Emma. If you’re considering this Jeep tour, I highly recommend asking for Emma. She truly makes the experience unforgettable.

Ivan and Benny were the best!! They took us around Hanoi, exploring different parts of the city and even a hidden countryside life of the busy Hanoi. Both tour guides were professional, friendly and caring, and they answered our questions about the history behind each places with a lot of depth. The drivers were excellent too! We really enjoyed it!!

The jeep tour is a great way to see the city and also the farm life in Hanoi. Especially if you have just 1/2 day and want to do both. Our guide Jay was very friendly and helpful. Her young friendly vibe helped cope with the humid heat of June even at 5pm. The tour would have been excellent had the weather been better.
