  My partner has one of the most difficult passports for getting a Chinese visa. We basically flew here for her to get it, since the HK center doesn’t accept her passport. Despite the expectations we had after reading all the reviews, it’s actually very straightforward to apply if you have everything prepared. The guards are super helpful, and there’s even a printer available. They answered emails very fast (within a day). We submitted our paperwork and got out in about 10 minutes. The whole process took about 2 weeks for us. Although we paid for the express service, we still waited one extra day. It would have been two extra days if we hadn't gone to the embassy to ask for her passport, as we really wanted to leave on the Friday overnight train to the border

  From my experience as an expat in Vietnam, I found obtaining a Chinese visa quicker and easier than a Taiwanese visa. For Taiwan's visa, you must arrive early to secure a spot in a long queue and deposit your ID to enter a small office. In contrast, the Chinese Visa Application Centre has ample space and helpful security guards. The first floor features a nice restaurant and coffee shop. When I collected my visa, the staff even gave me cute panda eye sleeping covers.

  As a tourist, I was a bit skiptical to do my visa application after reading all the reviews but when I went to the place after my online visa approval. Everything is fast. The security guards are very helpful with the process and the whole process itself was smooth. We were in and out for only 5-10mins.

  I’m a foreigner living in Vietnam for many years, and I’ve visited this Chinese Visa Center many times because I love traveling to China. There were moments when I forgot to read instructions or missed certain details, but every time I come here, I’m saved by the two security guards at the entrance. These two gentlemen don’t get enough credit. We don’t speak the same language, but respect is the key. When you treat people kindly, they will always do their best to help you - and these guards always go the extra mile to guide me, even when I don’t understand Vietnamese or Chinese. Also, a reminder to anyone who visits: things can go wrong anywhere. Don’t raise your voice or make a scene just because you’re upset. Stay calm, stay respectful, and the staff and other Vietnamese people there will surely help you. To the two security guards, thank you. You are my angels every time I walk through that door. 🙏🇨🇳🇻🇳✈️

  It's fast and efficient. Just get everything printed out before you go. They also have printers and copiers there, as well as a place to take passport photos. Staff were friendly, and the guard at the door even spoke a bit of English, enough to be helpful. They also have computers if you need to fix any mistakes in your application. Please note that food is not allowed, and there is no drinking water. I applied for the Z visa.

  Really organized. They had photo/paper printing services here. 50k VND for photo printing, 10k VND for each paper printed. Life saver

  I’m an Indonesian, and I applied for the Q2 visa myself while in Vietnam — without using any agency, and it wasn’t hard at all! Even as a foreigner, you can apply for it in Vietnam Total cost: 💰 USD 23 + 690,000 VND I chose the regular processing option and waited just 4 working days Staff are very helpful 🥰

  JD's comments were RIGHT. They do not accept applications from Tourists in Viet Nam. I wanted transit visa, but they allow applications ONLY From Those who are with LONG-Term residency permits here. Save your time and money. The guard does not let you in without application doc's. If he'd let me ask them the day before that, I would not spend time knowing they won't accept it.
