  Kim was amazing- the nicest bar tender I have met. Gave us various free shots and taught us how to cheers in Thai. Great man, great vibes- 10/10

  Tucked away in Hoi An’s quieter streets, Cowboy Hoi An is one of those unexpected gems that leaves a lasting impression. From the quirky Wild West decor to the friendly energy, it’s clear this place isn’t trying to be ultra-traditional — and that’s kind of the point. The menu is a fusion of Tex-Mex, BBQ, and Vietnamese comfort — and it actually works. The ribs were tender, smoky, and full of flavour, with generous portions that definitely deliver on value. The homemade sauces deserve a shout too. Drinks are reasonably priced, and they even had some decent cocktails if you’re in the mood. What really sets Cowboy apart, though, is the vibe. It’s not just a place to eat — it’s an experience. The owner (a real character) often mingles with guests, and the live music gives it that relaxed, anything-goes atmosphere. If you’re after something a little offbeat but still good food and good energy, Cowboy Hoi An is worth checking out. Not your typical Vietnamese stop — and that’s why it’s fun.

  The bar itself was wonderful! Great spot to relax. However, please be extremely careful and do not set foot in the souvenir shop (attached to a corner tailoring store) right next door (An Phuc 99). The staff over there are highly aggressive and hostile if you decide not to buy from them. Definitely come here to enjoy the bar, but absolutely avoid the shop next to it!

  The music was awesome!!! Drinks were not - rather expensive (even in happy hour), majority was ice, very easy on the alcohol. It was hard to communicate with the waiters - they didn't speak much English or didn't want to. What bothered me: we were told to pay the drinks right away. The waiter collected money from each of our big group separately. This took forever and he since he had no change he had to come back to each of us individually. They should find a better way to do this! We also had a couple of disputes with them which surely killed the mood. We argued about the happy hour which they in some cases did not want to grant, depending in the waiter.

  Not really the respectful Hoi An experience, loud music, messy backpackers. Preferably find another village for pub crawls and doof doof, Hoi An is beautifully peaceful place 💖

  I dont have a clue what they put in their burgers but it was disgusting and inedible. Staff was awsome but how does the chef get a burger wrong? Carrot in a burger is a hard NO and whatever else you put in! NO! We want beef not veggies 😤. Service amazing but food terrible if they was trying to be Western. Oh and your prices for terrible food are to put to shame. 250k dong for abysmal food when everyone serves fresh food for no more than 100k. Shame on the owner and this place should close

  Went here for a drink, thought it might be fun to play a game of pool. Local bloke asked if I wanted to play him for $500,000, I said let me warm up and maybe next game. Nice bloke, next game he said if I win buy me 5 drinks, he did win (excellent player) and I agreed. He asked to go again and I said I will play again but I don’t want to play for money/drinks (keep in mind I had also bought 4 drinks by this time) he agreed, absolutely smoked me, props to him. I suddenly had one of the workers come over and demand 1 million for playing him. I had to stand my ground and say I had only agreed to one game as a bet, after 10 minion back and forth they finally agreed. Then told me after I paid him that he has decided he wanted another 500,000. ( he worked for the bar) absolute con artists with ridiculous drink prices. Wouldn’t recommend anytime soon. Whole area is full of scammers
