Some of the tastiest food I’ve ever tried in my life. Absolutely unreal flavours! Just a shame me and my partner didn’t find out about this place sooner than our last two days is hoi A but went back there for dinner both evenings. The fish hot pot and beef hot pot was ridiculously tasty! We also had chicken curry and morning glory which were both great. The owner cooks everything as fresh as it comes so you may be waiting just a little while for your food but it’s more than worth it! The family are very warm and welcoming. Was a pleasure to try the food here! If you don’t go and eat here you’re a fool! Will 100% be retuning to this restaurant when I come back to hoi An. Thank you to the (mum) chef for some memorable food 😋

As soon as we arrived in Hoi An, of course we were hungry. It was already evening, and we were looking for a small restaurant somewhere in the center. But honestly, everywhere felt very crowded and noisy. Then I found this place on Google, and I simply couldn’t pass by after seeing the wonderful reviews - and now I completely understand them! We were welcomed so warmly here. A lovely woman took our order, and right after that we could already hear the sounds of cooking coming from the kitchen :)) The atmosphere felt incredibly cozy, almost like being at your grandmother’s home while she lovingly prepares food for you. Probably the most special thing was how fresh everything felt - truly made from scratch, with care and attention. The pineapple juice was unbelievably delicious and sweet. We ordered noodles, and when I politely asked for a little extra soup, they kindly served it separately in a bowl for me. We really enjoyed the food, and next time we will definitely come back to try the duck!

Absolutely incredible. We were in Hoi An for 5 nights and ended up eating here our first night and returning on our last night too - it was that good. I can recommend anything in the clay pots, the fried noodles, the fresh spring rolls are the best we have had in Vietnam. The staff are all lovely and the restaurant is also a family home upstairs and it has a really cosy atmosphere. There is also plenty of vegan and vegetarian food available - pretty much any dish can be made with tofu. Also I had no problem asking about peanuts and we were told that they don’t cook with peanuts at all. It is really worth a visit. 10/10

One of the best hidden gems of Hoi An! Upon finding the reviews of this restaurant online, my family and I decided to try, and we were not disappointed. Yes the wait for food wasn’t short, however understanding this was a family run restaurant with food prepared from fresh, it is completely worth the wait! Also the family are some of the most lovely and welcoming people I have met along my travels in Vietnam. The prices of food and drink here are great and even more impressive when you consider the taste. The food itself is fresh, and very flavoursome, I highly recommend any of the clay pot dishes. The place has a real charm and is a fantastic way of experiencing real Vietnamese food. We even ended up coming here 3 out of our 5 nights in Hoi An. Couldn’t recommend more, a huge thank you to Vina Ngon!

We found this restaurant by chance and after trying it out we loved it so much that we came back the next day. The food is the best we had in Hoi An. The restaurant is a family business and you can truly taste the authenticity of Vietnam in the increíble homemade food. The juices are so fresh it feels like you’re eating and drinking the fruit at the same time. If we could come back each night we would.

We’ve now had dinner at this restaurant three times, and the food is absolutely incredible every single time. All the dishes are prepared by the mother of the family, who is an exceptionally talented cook. You can truly taste the care, skill, and authenticity in every plate. She runs the kitchen herself, while the rest of her family helps serve the guests and keeps everything running smoothly. It gives the whole place a very personal and genuine atmosphere that we really appreciated. Her daughters work as waitresses and do a truly impressive job. They make a big effort to communicate in English, always with smiles and warmth, and when the restaurant is busy, you can see them almost running back and forth between the tables and the kitchen to keep up with everything. Their dedication and hard work do not go unnoticed. Her husband is also part of the service team, welcoming guests and helping ensure that everyone feels taken care of. It truly feels like a family effort. The restaurant is located on a quiet street, slightly away from the traffic and noise of the city, which makes the experience even more pleasant and relaxed. The only downside to having just one chef — even one as brilliant as her — is the waiting time. When it’s busy, the wait can be long (they even have a sign in the restaurant informing guests about this). If you visit during peak hours, be prepared to wait at least an hour for your food. But honestly, it is worth it. It also seems very popular among foreigners living in or around Hoi An, and sometimes it attracts larger groups of tourists who can get a bit loud. One practical note: the restaurant does not accept credit cards, so make sure to bring cash. Overall, we highly recommend giving it a try. The food is heavenly, the atmosphere is vibrant yet cozy, and despite the wait, it’s a place we happily return to again and again.

Without a doubt best meal we’ve had in Vietnam. Impeccably cute service. Those complaining about the wait time are silly, everything is super fresh and made ready to order. The only shame is that we’re leaving tomorrow and won’t be able to visit again. 5 Stars

We absolutely love this place! The food is exceptional, the fresh spring rolls are the best we have ever tried and the fried rice and tofu are amazing. Some of the best food we’ve eaten on our travels. The family that run it are super friendly and welcoming and it has a really nice, chilled atmosphere. We would definitely recommend and will be returning.
