Just want to say a huge thank you to the waiters, the manager, and the chefs working here. My friend and I came in tired and irritated, we asked for a lighter, and the staff didn’t have one. Then they actually went and bought a lighter and brought it to us ☺️ it was truly very touching and so customer-oriented 🙏🏼 Then we were given the menu — it had pictures and clear descriptions. The dishes themselves are very thoughtfully composed. You can tell the chef really understands food and creates something special. I was impressed. The dishes are cheaper than in neighboring places, but the taste — we were honestly blown away. The pho bo with smoked duck was amazing. You could feel the attention to every detail. I left with a very good impression, my mood became positive 🥹🧡 Also, they have a great selection of coffee. I’ll definitely come back many times when I’m in Hoi An again! 🔥

Like the secret garden of Hoi An, make your way down an alley to find yourself at the lush green entrance of Phin Coffee Restaurant. We arrived just before 10am and there were minimal patrons which was fantastic as we were then able to retreat into this quiet corner of peace. Staff - extremely sweet upon arrival, and very accommodating with service. Atmosphere - inviting, comfortable, well-spaced Service - A+ seated quickly, smoothies came out in a flash, followed closely by our food Taste - Amazazing, super delicious. I fell in love with the pesto cao laù Chocolate banana smoothie was made with proper cacao power, my favourite, and wasn’t too sweet (fabulous, in my opinion) Amazing presentation, so clean and aesthetically pleasing. I would love to try every item on the menu, and could bet that I wouldn’t be disappointed once.

We visited Phin Coffee and Restaurant twice during our stay in Hoi An. We went for lunch the first time and had wonderful food. I ordered the smoothie bowl and passion fruit juice, and my husband ordered the seafood Cao Lau noodles and a banana smoothie. Both dishes were excellent! Ingredients all tasted fresh, the service was great and friendly, and our orders came out quickly. While we had lunch, I also noticed a group in a separate room tasting coffee. When we inquired about it, we found out the restaurant also does a Vietnamese coffee class! We signed up for the coffee class as well and came back a couple days later to participate. It was wonderful! Our instructor, Mint, was very kind and informative. She gave us a history of the coffee belt, the different types of coffee beans, and showed us the traditional Vietnamese coffee brewing method. We also learned to make Salted Milk Coffee and Egg Coffee. It was an absolutely lovely experience overall. I would recommend both the restaurant and coffee class highly! Thanks Phin!

A True Oasis of Hospitality in the Heart of the City. If you are looking for more than just a caffeine fix, Phin Coffee is an absolute must-visit. Our experience here was nothing short of outstanding. The Atmosphere The location is like a hidden oasis. Tucked away in an alley, it is completely shielded from the constant honking and city noise. We were caught in a torrential downpour, and the beautiful, cozy interior became our sanctuary for several hours. It’s the perfect spot to escape the chaos and truly relax. The Coffee The coffee itself was superb. What made it special was the education provided; the staff took the time to explain the different bean types and processing methods, giving us expert recommendations that hit the mark. World-Class Service The service is where this place truly shines. They were incredibly attentive, ensuring every detail was correct and keeping our table stocked with water while we waited out the storm. The highlight of the afternoon was when a server—completely unprompted—went out into the rain to buy rain jackets for the customers. When we tried to tip him for the incredible gesture, he refused, showing a level of genuine care that is rare to find. Verdict From the warm smiles at the door to the "extra mile" service, this was a 10/10 experience. We will definitely be back!

In my experience, the word "fusion" on a menu can lead to confusion on the plate - that is definitely NOT the case here. The smoked duck breast pho combined the flavours of east and West in a magical way. The sweet and sour chicken had a supreme balance with loads of umami moderating the sweet and the sour. The star of the day was the smoked yellow fin tuna. There was a delicate balance of flavours between the fish itself, the mustard mayonnaise and the king of the orange segments in the salad. A triumph! Not only is the food great, but also the pleasant garden setting and the friendly, efficient staff will make you wish to return. PS The carrot cake is great as well.

We had a great experience at this café! We joined a coffee class where we learned how to make different types of Vietnamese coffee, and it was really interesting. HI was our instructor and she explained everything very clearly and in a very engaging way. She is very kind, friendly and passionate about what she does, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We learned a lot about Vietnamese coffee culture and had the chance to taste several different styles of coffee. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Hoi An, especially if you love coffee!

This is a very pleasant, cozy place with friendly staff, and amazing food and drinks. It is tucked away in a quiet alley, making it peaceful, relaxed, and a truly nice place to spend time. It’s one of our favorite spots in Hoi An, and we stopped by almost every day for either lunch or dinner.

Had a nice avo toast breakfast with a carrot cake. The place is hidden in an alley (a little difficult to find tbh), but the cafe is quaint. It is very green, with a succulent garden on 1st floor. Service is good, and food is great.
