We initially stopped by for a quick coffee and milkshake but ended up staying for a bánh mì — which was a great decision. It impressed us enough that we came back for dinner the same day, and we’re very glad we did. Dinner was outstanding. Everything we ordered was fantastic, especially the cao lầu, beef in pepper sauce, and the caramelised pork and prawns. Even the kids were happy with the crumbed chicken tenders and chips. We finished with a selection of desserts and cakes, all of which were delicious. Hands down, this was the best meal we’ve had in Vietnam.

Excellent service and very accommodating crew! Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made the experience enjoyable. Great atmosphere and great people. Will definitely come back! The atmosphere was absolutely amazing — cozy, relaxing, and beautifully designed. The ambiance creates the perfect place to unwind, enjoy good food, and spend quality time with friends or even alone. The music, lighting, and overall vibe were all perfectly balanced. You instantly feel comfortable the moment you walk in. Definitely one of the best spots to chill and enjoy the experience!

We went to this beautiful place by the river for breakfast. The place is beautifully decorated like most places in Hoi An. The service was fantastic and the food very good. Everything was fresh and looked very pleasing to the eyes. Good food is as much as how it looks as how it tastes. The price, for such a high end place, is very reasonable. A breakfast for 2, with drinks cost less then 450k. Our waitress Anna was exceptional. She even presented us with 2 souvenir key chains when we paid. I thoroughly recommend this place.

After exploring Hoi An all morning and debating dinner spots, we popped into this cafe to make a reservation. The staff were incredibly friendly, letting us choose our time and even pick our own table—a cozy spot for two with stunning waterfront views. The menu looked amazing too, packed with both Western and Asian options. That evening, we arrived starving and were greeted warmly again by several staff who whisked us straight to our table. Service was top-notch, and the food? Unbelievably good—one of the best ducks I've ever had and a huge lamb shank. We ordered a couple dishes each, plus 2 beers, 1 fruit juice, 2 coconut coffees, and 4 mains... total came to just 1,200,000 VND!Highly recommend to anyone wanting a proper meal beyond street food in Hoi An. We'll be back and telling everyone about this gem.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I was craving an American style breakfast, and they absolutely delivered. It was better than expected and included so many things. We also had the Fried Egg plate, a detox coffee (which was presented beautifully), and a caramel frappe. The caramel frappe didn’t taste much like caramel, but more like oreos (which I actually loved!). At the end, they brought us a tea to help digest, as well as a little souvenir. Mimi, our server, was extremely sweet. I highly recommend this place if you’re in Hoi An.

Delicious food, friendly staff, and a great atmosphere. There was a live guitarist playing at dinner time and you have a great view of the river and lanterns if you decide to sit outside. I loved the beef wrap and apple soda mocktail ^^

Really beautiful setting inside. We had the Vietnamese crispy pork salad. It was delicious and a really good serving size. We given a complementary green tea to finish. Great value for money.

I’ve probably been to Poison Cafe before but it’s my first time sitting down for a proper meal. I was lucky to be assisted by Min, who was pleasant and helpful, transferring me to a table with better view once it was vacant. I enjoyed everything I ordered (there were some fresh shrimp spring roll I didn’t get to take pictures of). I wish to come back for coffee during my stay.
