I had an incredible experience training Taekwondo at Hoang Dung Fitness and Kickboxing Center. My trainer, Vuong, was everything I could have asked for. He took the time to listen to the specific techniques I wanted to work on, while still grounding me in the fundamentals of Taekwondo that I needed to build a solid foundation. Every session pushed me, but in a way that felt purposeful and fulfilling. What stood out most was his ability to demonstrate techniques with precision—seeing the movements performed correctly made it much easier to understand and improve. He also paid attention to how I was feeling day-to-day. On days I came in tired, he adjusted the training to match my energy while still keeping it productive. As an American who speaks English, communication was never an issue—we were able to understand each other clearly throughout the sessions. I highly recommend this gym to anyone looking to learn or improve in Taekwondo while in Hoi An.

If you want to work out traditional Vietnamese style, and pay pennies, ideal place. Opens early (05.30 am), 30k (a bit over 1 US dollar!). Loads of equipment and some punching bags. Do NOT expect the fancy, smooth, beautiful people gym, this is a training facility. Check each apparatus carefully, before using: they all have a lot of ‘wear’.

Really good for the price! We are Australian’s here on vacation and normally live in Thailand. Friendly staff and heaps of equipment. Old school gym where you can buy bottled water and there’s decent toilets. Easy to get Grab car there. We will be going back there again!!

Great gym. Equipment is a little dated but enough there to get a good workout. I scheduled some private Muay Thai lessons with Khoa. Great coach that really taught me a lot . He held some pretty rigorous training sessions. Can’t recommend him enough! 30,000 VND for the gym, 200,000 VND for private Muay Thai training.

Great workout spot while in Hoi An. I tried two other gyms but they were exceptionally crowded. Plenty of space, equipment, and great staff. The equipment is a bit older but if you are here looking for a workout, you cannot go wrong.

Great place to have a workout session while travelling. Older equipment but work well. Squat rack, arm, back, and leg machines, treadmills, and space for floor exercises. Cost was 30k VND or $1.20.

Nice gym, a lot of equipment! Good price, 30k for 1 visit. Dumbbells are up to 40 kg only. Seems like people working out there are weak, because weights aren't put back on racks

30.000 VND only daily entrance , problem with this place is lots of usable equipments but not maintained properly and very unorganized with loose weights all over the floor and not picked up and re-racked properly. Staffs are mediocre and NOT too friendly at all! But with these being said, you can still have a proper workout if you know what you need and what you are doing without asking the staffs to help !
