I absolutely loved this hotel! From the moment I checked in, everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming. They worked hard to get my room ready early, and when I was sick on my first night, the hotel team thoughtfully sent ginger tea to my room, which meant so much. The spa is lovely—I had my nails and toes done, and my polish still hasn’t chipped. The staff remembers your name and always acknowledges you, which makes the experience feel very personal. I stayed in the luxury king room overlooking the river, and it was perfect—very clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Breakfast and room service were both delicious, and the hotel’s location is ideal. Everything is extremely walkable. The hotel staff also made transportation incredibly easy by arranging my airport transfer as well as transportation from the hotel to Ba Na Hills, which made traveling stress-free. If I return to Hoi An, I would absolutely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay and experience with Laluna Hoi An. We booked two nights and two rooms at Laluna and was also travelling with my elderly mother. I have to say - the staff here are exceptional with a special shout out to Kay and D. They were especially attentive and caring towards my mother and her needs. I could not understand the negative reviews of this place so I went through it myself and addressed some of the things based on our recent experience there. I do believe that with stays anywhere and everywhere in the world - the experience is very subjective and also dependent on the traveller. I would say this is a very quaint, cosy, family-run style hotel that remembers each guest by name. The rooms and linen are clean (with the option of daily cleaning which we did not take up as we were only there for a short time). We loved that we could do our laundry everyday for a price of 60,000 VND per kg which was very reasonable for us given how quickly the turnaround time was for it (dropped it off morning, got it back by noon, dropped it off late noon, got it back by night), the breakfast and food was also very decent and fairly priced. Could the facilities be better? Maybe but keep in mind that this is a small boutique hotel. I would say it's pretty good that they even have a pool, pool bar and gym to start off with. The water in my room wasn't as hot as I would have like it to be but I managed fine. With the Hoi An heat, you actually need the cooler showers. My partner's room did not have any issue with the water so I guessed it was just a one-off thing. We booked our airport, hotel transfers and a half day tour with them and no, they did not push us to do this. You can definitely get cheaper prices on Grab and if you booked your own tours but I needed and had to pay for the convenience given my mother's health condition and age. The massage prices were also very reasonable and again - there could be cheaper options outside but this was so convenient. During check in, they did sit and brief us about all the available offers but they were never once pushy. Tips are not expected and greatly appreciated when given. The hotel is a short walk away to the Old Town (around 10-15 minutes) but in the heat - this can seem like quite a feat. My elderly mother also found it challenging so what I can suggest is to take a shuttle/Grab to Tuong tailor street and then make your way around from there. For my partner and I, we enjoyed the walk. Because sunrise is so early here, by 10am, you're almost dealing with like afternoon-level sun and heat. We planned our walks around this and managed well. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to my own friends and family and we're already talking about returning next year to Laluna Hoi An.

Great little hotel. Friendly staff and service. Little bit further down from all the bars and lanterns but reasonable location and away from the noise. The gym is very dated and not much of the equipment works properly. There is a barbell with no weights to put on it. The pool is lovely and seems to always have a shadey area to cool down and bonus it's open til 10pm. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is included and nice.

Wonderful customer service and spa options. I had the best massage of my trip here. Mr. Chao was very helpful. The location is also very walkable to old town—me and my friend only took transportation if it was provided by a tour company, otherwise we walked. Loved staying here as it made the tailor fitting appointments easy to get to. Everyone wants to help you here! Highly recommend getting a massage before bed. The pool was nice at happy hour as well!

Our room was on the top floor, but the lift did not go all the way up to that floor. It was nicely decorated but looked a little tired. The location, however, was great. It was a nice stroll in the evening to the old town. The staff were generally friendly. Tina, in particular, made an effort to remember our names and to check in on us. She was also very helpful in giving suggestions on what to eat/do. She made this stay an extremely pleasant one for us.

Really lovely hotel. Rooms were nice, buffet breakfast was very good, staff lovely. Pool wasn’t huge but perfectly fine for my 2 x primary school age kids and a few other families. Pretty easy walk to everywhere we wanted to go. About 30-40m taxi out of Da Nang airport. Street outside not too busy so nice.

Laluna was our favorite proper hotel of the entire journey, and it earned that distinction at every turn.||Thao checked us in with warmth and a glass of passionfruit juice, walked us through the amenities, listened carefully to what we had planned, and offered thoughtful suggestions that genuinely added to our stay. The room was gorgeous, and the balcony's river view was everything. The location is ideal — a five-minute walk along the riverfront road gets you just about anywhere in Hoi An.||Breakfast was extraordinary. Not just a standard spread — a genuine showcase of local specialties we'd have otherwise paid restaurant prices to experience: sticky rice patties with mung beans and toasted coconut, Cao Lau, Bánh xèo, Pho Cuon, Gỏi cuốn, bánh cuốn, pho, and a full egg station. Vietnamese coffee was outstanding, and soy milk was provided without hesitation. We looked forward to breakfast every morning.||The free bikes were a wonderful perk — just one tip: test the lock before leaving the property. We discovered ours had jammed only once we'd arrived at our destination.||The pool area was lovely, with nice seating, good towels, and reasonably priced cocktails. Laundry service was available and equally reasonable. And when our flight became significantly delayed on our last day and my phone wouldn't connect to the local number, the hotel stepped in and made the call for us. A small thing, perhaps — but exactly the kind of effortless helpfulness that defines a truly exceptional stay.||Room, service, food, amenities, location, value. Laluna gets everything right. There isn't a better place to stay in Hoi An.

Had a wonderful stay at La Luna Hoi An. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and conveniently located within walking distance of Hoi An Ancient Town. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always greeted us with a smile.
