My wife and I stayed here a full month while she completed her dissertation and we were so very happy with our stay. The staff is incredibly warm and accommodating. The hotel itself is very well maintained and has a beautiful fengshui that hits some middle point between being cosy, spacious and communitarian. The location is great and the room overlooking the rice paddies and gardens was very relaxing and serene. We feel a real connection with this place and felt really at home. Big thank you to the staff for their extra efforts and down to earth, natural hospitality!

Its located in a narrow alley, but inside they got all the services. The price was ok. My room is on the fourth floor. Morning buffet was decent, if you into Phở, i’ll recommend. Kinda far from the Hoi An old town tho. You guys can rent motorbike in the next door neighbor hood. If you guys go by car, they have the parking park next door too. The hotel reception was polite and fast. I give this hotel a 9/10.

We were well received by Lien! She explained us all the facilities and services by the hotel. The next day I was sick, so I asked for tea and broth for my throat, and Hailey and Trang kindly helped me with that. They were amazing! 😎😎 I also loved the pool. It’s well-shaded and big enough too. I highly recommend this hotel! If I ever come to Hoi An again, this is definitely my spot. 🙏🏼

May 26-June 01, 2026 We had a wonderful 6-night stay at this beautiful hotel. In fact, we almost feel ashamed that we spent our first 4 nights at another hotel, we should have stayed here from our very first day in Hoi An! My favorite part was our room: the grandest and most beautiful room on the 6th floor, with stunning views of the green fields. I also loved the breakfast. The selection is not big, but it has everything you need, and they offer something different every day. The restaurant is cozy and welcoming as well. The pool is lovely, the garden is charming. I had a massage with Van and she was amazing - I highly recommend her she is so adorable. The only downside during our stay was that some guests were quite noisy and messy. They would run through the hallways dripping wet from the swimming pool, use the elevators while soaking wet, and even ding dong ditching early morning at other guests' doorbells including ours and running away. However, this is not the hotel's fault. If you encounter such behavior, I recommend reporting it to the staff right away so they can address the issue and prevent it from disturbing other guests. All the staff was kind, helpful, warm, friendly, and professional. Special thanks to Jenny, Hailey, Trang, and the entire team for making our stay so memorable. Thank you very much! 🙏🏽

This charming hotel is a true 4-star experience and exceeded our expectations in many ways. The rooms are beautifully designed, clean, and comfortable. We had a small balcony overlooking the lovely gardens. The hotel grounds are well maintained, creating a peaceful and attractive atmosphere throughout the property. The swimming pool is excellent and a real highlight of the hotel. The room had fantastic water pressure, the air conditioner worked perfectly and quietly, and we enjoyed restful nights throughout our stay. What truly sets this hotel apart is its staff. Their friendliness is contagious, and every team member we encountered was helpful, professional, and eager to assist. Nothing seemed too much trouble, and whenever an issue arose, they went above and beyond to resolve it. A special mention must go to Trang, who was absolutely lovely and provided exceptional service throughout our stay. The hotel also offers complimentary bicycles for guests to use, which was a fantastic bonus and a great way to explore the area. The restaurant and bar area are inviting and well presented. We enjoyed dinner there one evening and were very impressed with both the quality of the food and the overall dining experience. Everything throughout the hotel was spotless and well cared for. While the hotel is located slightly outside of town, we considered this a major advantage. It offers a peaceful escape from the noise and crowds while still being conveniently accessible. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and would happily stay here again. I'd rate this one 4.5 out of 5

Reception staff are lovely and very helpful. The hotel grounds and pool area are very nice. The location is good too. 20 minute walk to the vibrant town. The hotel is let down somewhat by the poor breakfast offering (food and seevice) and housekeeping standards. Fine for a few days stay. Hou An itself is lovely. Mate restaurent a short walk from the hotel is fantastic.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at this boutique hotel. All the staff, and especially Jenny in reception and Trang, were very helpful. From sorting a room change, to organising transport, nothing was too much trouble.||The location was great. We enjoyed an authentic Vietnamese meal one night at a local restaurant, just 5-10 minutes walk away. The old town, markets and riverside are easily accessible by a short electric buggy ride for a small charge. It was nice to come back on a hot day, and relax by the pool. We enjoyed really good cocktails at Happy hour each night, the best we had in Vietnam. Breakfast was great as well.||Don't miss a ride in the basket boats in the coconut forest while in Hoi An. Great fun.||We highly recommend staying here.

I had a lovely stay at Shining Hotel Hoi An. The hotel has a calm, welcoming atmosphere that makes it easy to relax from the moment you arrive. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated, with everything I needed for a pleasant stay. One thing to mention is that most of the pool view rooms have bath tubs which was not to my liking as I prefer a shower. However this is easily remidied if you stay in the field view rooms or river view rooms. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, always ready to help and making the experience feel warm and personal. The location is peaceful and slightly away from the busy centre, yet still close enough to easily explore Hoi An.I especially enjoyed the pool area, which was perfect for unwinding after a day out. Overall, it’s a charming and comfortable hotel that I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Hoi An.
