  We arrived around 7:30 PM, and the staff had already stopped accepting customers for the evening. We politely asked if they could still accommodate us, and they kindly made an exception. We were so grateful that they welcomed us as their last customers. While waiting in line, we were able to place our order, and both the queue and food service moved surprisingly fast. We ordered their best-selling dishes, and every bite was worth it! The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the prices offered excellent value for money. A big thank you to the accommodating and hardworking staff for ending our day with such a great dining experience. Highly recommended if you’re in Hoi An!

  The best roast duck I’ve ever had, full stop. ​If you are looking for an absolute food highlight in Hoi An, you have to get yourself to Cơm Linh. ​The roast duck here is completely out of this world. The skin is perfectly lacquered and crisp, and the meat itself is incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. It is, by far, the best duck I’ve ever had anywhere. ​But the real kicker is the value. We got a massive spread, including half a roast duck, and the full meal came out to less than 30 AUD! Getting that quality and quantity of food for that price—right near the tourist center—is almost unheard of. It charges like a neighborhood local but delivers world-class flavors. ​The vibe inside is cozy, simple, and unpretentious, giving you a really authentic feel. Just a heads up: because the duck is so legendary, it can sell out on busy evenings, and a line can form outside later in the night. Arrive a bit early if you can, order the duck the second you sit down, and prepare to be blown away. ​An absolute 10/10 value and taste experience. Do not leave Hoi An without eating here.

  The tastiest Vietnamese food in Hoi An so far. People have to realize that it is a small restaurant “a tiny one” and there will be a long queue- specially if you come on those PEAK HOURS! (Don’t know why they rate this shop low because of the long queue). Was a nice experience overall, would recommend.

  What an amazing dinner we had here, we heard a lot about this restaurant and they were not wrong! The flavours from The Duck and Cao Lau were unbelievably good! We ordered our food and it was at our table within 10 minutes, the staff are very friendly and speak good English so they can help you with any of your questions.

  The food here is very tasty and full of flavor — I really enjoyed everything I tried. The service was good overall and the staff was attentive. I’m not sure if I went during rush hour, but I did have to share a table, which made it feel a bit crowded. That said, it was still a good experience overall, and I definitely recommend it for the flavor and quality of the food.

  The restaurant was very busy when we arrived. We arrived around 7pm and there was a queue. The restaurant closes at 8pm and me and my partner we were not sure that we will be able to get in. In the end we were the last couple that were accepted in the queue, we were very great full for it. They started to take orders already in the queue so we didn't have to wait that much when we got a table. My dish was very nice was a noodle stir fry with roasted beef, the portion size was good but the size of the protein (beef) wasn't that much. We ordered some fresh spring rolls which was delicious, and my partner ordered chicken and rice which she founded to be very plain.

  Com Linh is clearly one of the most popular local spots in Hoi An, and after eating here, it is easy to understand why. When we arrived, the restaurant was completely packed and we ended up waiting over 30 minutes for a table. The wait was longer than expected, but the steady stream of customers was a good sign that the food would be worth it. Once seated, the service was impressively quick and efficient. The staff moved fast, took our order promptly, and our dishes arrived sooner than we anticipated considering how busy the restaurant was. Even during peak hours, everything felt organized and smooth. We ordered a half duck, pork cutlet over rice with a fried egg, fried spring rolls, and marinated chicken. The half duck was tender with crispy skin and rich flavor, cooked perfectly and served in a generous portion. The pork cutlet over rice was simple but incredibly satisfying. The meat was well seasoned and juicy, paired perfectly with the fried egg on top. When the yolk mixed into the rice, it added great texture and flavor. The fried spring rolls were crispy on the outside and packed with flavorful filling inside. They were fresh and not overly greasy. The marinated chicken was also a standout, tender and full of savory flavor with just the right balance of seasoning. The atmosphere is lively and energetic, reflecting the local dining culture. It is not a quiet setting, but it feels authentic and welcoming. Despite the long wait for a table, the quick service and excellent food made the experience worthwhile. If you are visiting Hoi An and want authentic, satisfying Vietnamese comfort food, Com Linh is a great choice.

  Unfortunately this was probably the worst meal we had in Vietnam - and that’s saying a lot because I’ve had lots of different food since being here. Came because it was recommended and seemed popular. We went in at around 3pm for a late lunch/early dinner, so getting a table was easy. Our food came just a few minutes after we ordered which seemed impressive at the time, but it really wasn’t great. The duck was tough and tasted like it had already been cooked and just warmed up. The duck spring rolls were okay but a bit bland and noodles didn’t have much taste either. We also got drinks - the avocado smoothie was alright but the papaya smoothie was extremely bland and watery. Overall really disappointing because of all the good reviews we’d seen before and the price tag that came with the extremely mid meal.
