We had dinner here and it was a nice experience overall! The service was excellent and the staff really attentive for our dinner. The food was also quite tasty and nice different dishes. The portions are towards small and also the price is a bit high, compared with other restaurants in Hoi an! Nevertheless, the offer a nice and quite garden to have dinner with a nice romantic view over the river, that we really loved!

If I could give 6 stars for service I would! An excellent meal with very healthy portions. We started with the Deep Fried King Crab Spring Roll and the White Rose. The spring rolls were rolled in a vermicelli style wrapper - a lot lighter than normal spring rolls a totally delicious. We had to have the White Rose, a Hoi An specialty, and were not disappointed. Like an open dumpling with rice flour and shrimp mince. Supposedly made by one family and very tasty. Mains were Bun Cha Hà Nội and King Prawns with Tamarind. The bun cha, slices of pork on a hot stone with minced pork balls, spring rolls, noodles, salad and sauce could have fed two. The sauce, as per many meals in Vietnam, was a highlight. The prawns went well with the mango salad - very refreshing. The wine list is great, though expensive. The ambience is stunning - right on the Thu Bồn River. All the boats come past, light up with lanterns. It can get quite noisy though, especially around sunset and early evening.

Very quiet and special place to have slow dinner and enjoy the river. Very unusual dishes unlike many other restaurants that makes the experience authentic.

Riverside Restaurant, Anantara Hoi An is one of the best choices for anyone who wants to enjoy a truly Hoi An style meal. There are a wide range of selections and all touch to the cuisine culture of Hoi An in particular and Vietnam in general. Its Cao Lau is very tasty with slices of greasy char siu, fresh herbs and wonton chips, while the deep-fried king grab spring rolls are extremely crispy and flavorful. Its chicken rice is served with abundant shredded chicken, adding a pinch of turmeric to enhance the flavors. The dessert, especially steamed date pudding, is so charming thanks to the harmonious mixture of warm cake and cold ice cream but not too sweet. The price is affordable at a 4-star hotel like this. Definitely a highly recommended Vietnamese restaurant.

My hubby took me here on Saturday for an early birthday celebration, it was so amazing, everything was perfect. He wrote a note in the request where we wanted to sit and what occasion it was for and our awesome waitress (LY) accommodated it all. She was so lovely and deserves such an amazing review. Ly & Xao were so amazing the entire night we were there, they went above and beyond. At the end, I was surprised with a birthday cake from them, I thought it was really sweet! (This rarely happens back in Melbourne, unless it was requested that they come out with a cake at the end..) Hubby did not request the cake, it was special from Ly & Xao. Please pass on this message to LY & XAO. Much love & appreciated. x

Great restaurant in Anantara hotel. It’s right on the water which is nice so you can see the boats go by. They give complimentary rice cracker and a small app (shrimp one night and shrimp cracker with veggies the other). Both nights we got hoi a chicken rice and the lemongrass honey chicken with sticky rice. The stir fried veggies are delicious. Great service and food comes quickly. Costs more than non hotel restaurants but to be expected.

We stayed in Anantara Hotel and enjoy the dinner here. It’s super busy and crowded in the center of Hoi An, but it’s very calm here. You can enjoy traditional Vietnamese dishes. I tried the fresh coconut juice, and it was something I couldn’t get in my home country.

Had a lovely dinner at the Riverside restaurant. It has a really nice view of the river and is lovely to watch all the boats go by at night. Service was excellent and attentive, and all the food we got was delicious. The only drawback is that the food here is priced a lot higher than other local restaurants.
